Ah, I see you have read some good science fiction. The exact scenario you cite has been with us for a long time in books like Diamond Age or The Wind Up Girl.
Very promising and very interesting. I am curious who will take the role of pilot to control the robots remotely? A family member or the service providers?
I can see this being the future. You have a robot at your house It can perform some task autonomously but you can also hop into it and pilot it out in the real world If need be. Great idea please make it work! Piloting the robot seems to be a great way to train it how to do something. You show it how to do it a few times and then It should be able to carry on without you.
The Sanctuary AI teleoperation video provides a detailed overview of how general-purpose robots can be controlled remotely. It highlights advancements in teleoperation technology, showcasing how these robots can perform a variety of tasks with precision and ease, even from a distance.
So the operator can be anywhere in the world? Like in an underdeveloped country, making $1 per hour, not unionized, for example?
Of course. Now the American needs UBI.
Well he can asked for more money. Or sue the employer from anywhere.
This will be perfect for the care industry. one person can control many of these robots . Caring for more than one peeson.

So he doesn't even have to come into the country? Omg. . . So many problems solved

Making progress.
Progress brings great and incredible things but also horrible things as well.
Неплохо неплохо, но мне кажется такая система уязвима к взлому, звучит довольно пугаеще. А так - молодцы! Продолжайтк в том же духе!

Wow this is what I’d seen in science fiction movies but now I’ve seen it in reality
Customers use meta quest 3 with hand tracking? Or we need that bulky setup?
Wow very nice 🎉
What tasks can this bot actually perform autonomously?
Everything after training.

Incredible!
So cool and bettet than tesla imo
See in Internet: "The underwater anthropomorphous robot - avatar, or why the underwater robot must have legs" ☺☺☺
The robot moves before the pilot. Bad editing?
lol lets see it replace a paper towel roll with the spring
What contingencies are there I wonder from someone taking it over to commit a crime? It’s very cool but don’t let it get exploited.
that's some surrogates stuff
A bit slow no! Would get on my nerves ...... ;-)
The operator can be on earth while the robot is on Mars exploring.
c ≠ ∞
@@redryder3721that's right. Needs an ansible. Maybe with quantum entanglement. But what if your mind gets entangled to the bot?
looks extremely expensive tho
