Your beautiful Red Bud trees look like our Japanese Cherry Trees we have here on the Big Island of Hawai’i So beautiful when they bloom too. And what was so funny is that I wore my Cog Hill tshirt I bought last year to The Laundromat and there was a Patreon from your channel visiting Hawai’i. It shocked me because no one ever approached me before about it. I was so happy to meet someone who knew of you guys too. Thankyou for having me join your family on Cog Hill. Aloha till we talk again🌺🌺🌺
@darci12u You are right! My Dad & dear Step Mom always went the river area where the mayhap grew. They made the best jelly...well My favorite was wild plum jelly which they also gathered on old dirt roads out in the country in Texas.
I've been a member of the Arbor Day Foundation for more than 20 years. I'm glad they are helping your community Be sure to put the mayhaw near the pond. And the River Birch will do well to at the high point of the pond. Don't let it sit in water, let it sit near the water. You also might think about getting the Arbor Day Foundation hazelnut / filbert trees. They have come up with a variety of the grow any place in the US, which will feed wildlife and people. That might be a great addition to your orchard / grove of trees.
If Nugget could purr I think he would. He is so sweet and loving. Those Silkies are so cute with their poofs. I'm so happy you got the trees. So fantastic. People have no idea how important native trees are. Holly is absolutely what Cog Hill needed. She is so happy.
Those baby chicks are beautiful! It will be so exciting to watch them grow. Jason love your excitement at the potato planting. With that huge area Brooke has plowed you will have plenty of wonderful potatoes for the family and your garden stand. All those tractor parts that came in makes me happy. Can't wait to see the tractor running around Cog Hill! Love you all!💕💛💙
Thank you for showing us the baby chicks Jason. They are so adorable with the little pooch on their head, I can't wait to see them grown up. I also can't wait to see your granddaddies tractor running. That is so special to have it running on your farm. ❤❤❤
Yep, really cute chicks. I had three chicks once when I was a young guy. They grew to be fairly big, but wound up going through the cracks of our hound dog pen and we had one dog Polly Joe who ate each one....sad time.
@@elizabethcave7666 🤣ok thanks! We definitely have those but call them mosquitoes, I hope nobody minds if I steal the “skitters” name. I think my grandchildren will love it! 🍁🇨🇦❤️
Mc is getting so tall and she has the sweetest smile. So glad you guy's got the trees. Can't wait to see the garden this year. Jason I just love seeing you in overhauls. It's nice to see you all love from Knoxville Tennessee

You guys were on my mind yesterday morning when I was ordering heirloom vegetable seeds. I went CRAZY and ordered 198 different seeds !! I don't have the space to grow them all in the same year but just couldn't help myself! Anyway I had to tell someone I am so excited! I live in Green Bay Wisconsin and watch everyone of your productions. Blessings to all of you.
Marycarl you are such a beautiful young lady. And so knowledgeable about so many different things. You are such a blessing. God bless you and your family and your farm family. 🙋🏻♀️♥️🇺🇸
Imagine redbuds along your front fence line in early Spring blooming behind all your new daffodils✨🤩✨ I love that you “eat the stew out of” potatoes. Now THAT’S some potato eating for sure!😆
I remember when my mom & Dad would plant potatoes they would only grow the Yukon potatoes They both have passed it brought back so many memories when I was younger.
Peaches looked like she was thinking, "DID I HEAR YOU SAY YOU GOT A PERSIMMON TREE.!?! Oh boy! I can't wait for those persimmons! Kids might tend to eat those potatoes just because they are purple!! Some people dip the cut potatoes in sulfur before planting, so says "The Googler"!
@CogHillFarm when the redbuds bloom out try the blossom. They are tasty! You can add them to your favorite peach or other fruit pie/desert for something a little different!
@@CogHillFarm spring is coming here to fast in va , my peach and pear trees are budding , we will get another frost sometime between march and aprial lost all my pear and peaches lasy year becouse we got a frost 18th of april only got apples.
Glad to see Mary Carl putting a ribbon on the trees cause I can just see Brooke bush hogging out there and running over the trees because I would and not paying attention to what I was doing. LOL
I shared your video with my wisconsin daughter on 30 acres with 10 homeschooling grandkids of mine. They're getting ready for tapping their maple trees. This year they'll use their wood ash from boiling the maple sap into syrup. They'll throw their wood ash across their property, learned from you to be beneficial nutrients for the soil.
MC amazes me - she is such an intelligent young lady. Always just jumps in to help no matter what. Holly is so happy, smiling all the time!!!! Warms my heart. Love y’all’s videos. Have a blessed day.
Goodness gracious Holly was a real good addition to the farm to get along well with all the animals and she is so loving. Oh my gosh she is just a sweetheart.❤❤
My mom had an ostrichfeather cape which we used to line a woven basket & put our day-old chicks in there. Added an old alarm clock ⏰️ to it as a heartbeat!! Worked a treat!
It makes me smile every time I see Holly running around and playing , I know that the previous owner misses her , but she was an excellent pet owner to find her such a happy , safe and loving family to live with .
Whoo hoo, this time you were able to get some free trees🌳 When I saw you on Big O, the first thing I thought of was, “did you have Brooke’s permission?” but you addressed that straight up🤣 The chicks are so sweet🐥 Loved seeing Holly lead the way back to the barndominium at the end of the day😊 Take care & cheers🥰
I am so excited! Gardening time for you is getting so close. I love watching you and the family so much. Holly was a great addition to the family. She is living her best life now. God Bless all of you and the animals. ❤️
My dad’s garden produced all we needed but was not big enough to plant a huge bunch of potatoes. He would cut off the sprouts and we would eat what flesh was left. For some unknown reason, those were the best potatoes of all!
Great video of Ms. Peaches. She definitely looked like she was surveying her kingdom. Making sure everyone is working and behaving themselves. Love that porcine diva!
Aww the baby chicks are so cute ! Glad you were able to get a variety of trees, nice ! Boy you'all will have alot of potatoes come harvest time ! Love seeing the animals ! God Bless❤

I'm here waiting impatiently for spring... In upstate NY we currently are having a ice/snow storm. Can only do planning right now. I can't wait to see the silkie cottage finished out. I am totally obsessed with it!!! I have been looking for one here. So far no luck... I might have to build it. I just know my grandkids would love it for the chickens!!

It’s those alien bugs that I accidentally cut in half when I was a kid helping my dad that got me. I know now those big forks work better, anyway. Thanks for the tips about scabbing over before planting.
I love that it's getting garden time! And you have a good helper! Holly just loves you all! mary Carl is so good to help you all, also! Looking forward to next video.

The redbud blooms are edible and make a beautiful jelly. The mayhaws are in the hawthorn family and produce a pretty apple like fruit excellent for jelly as well as medicinal. Will take a wild persimmon any day over a foreign plant that's not supposed to be here. Need to work those hill's some more and get the soil good and loose so they don't have to fight to make spuds. Take care and have a blessed day.🍀 Blessings, Teresa
The one thing that I have wanted to plant is sweet potatoes. Love red potatoes as they have a great flavor. Now I'm going to have to look for purple potatoes in the store and try them out. I'm having a blast watching the guarding time. Thank you so much.
I don't think Holly could be as happy anywhere else than she is there. She's living her best life!

Just love how Brooke got a beautiful dining table, but Jason got a indoor work station.
I thought of that too when he was laying the paper out.
