The people are buying because of huge speed breakers on the roads
Exactly 😢
And people have lost hope of fixed roads
And pot holes too
Agree😊
Even then people do over speeding.
Agreed with the PROS of Sedans.
1 - Biggest CON is it's bigger length which makes it difficult to drive in City & requires bigger Parking Space. Not many travel long distances so Big Boot space is a waste.
2 - Talking about Body roll 95% (55-60% Urban & 40-45% Rural within 20-30 kms) are used in Congested Traffic conditions with maximum average speed of under 15-20 kmph. It does come into picture unless you are on highway.
3 - Because of low Ground Clearance it does not offer comfortable Ingress-Egress. At the same time at speed breakers there are chances of underbelly scraping & damages.
These are the main reasons why Indians prefer to buy Hatchbacks or SUVs.
World over demand for Sedans are declining. Unless you regularly are driving on Express highways most of the time.
Indians have graduated from Hatch to bigger Ground Clearance SUVs be it Compact or Mid Size.
I have seen more sedans in the city than on highroads. Any good driver can drive a sedan. It's a no issue.
Parking space is a issue with SUVs too. They may not be longer but they're wider and bigger. Body roll or not sedans offer much better comfort than any other type of cars period. Ground clearance is not a big issue in mid size sedans, it's an issue in more premium sedans only. Anything over 160mm ground clearance is okay as India has much better roads than before. Also a lot of hatchbacks have ground clearance around 165-170mm which is sedan range. Alto 800 has 160mm while Verna and City has a clearance of 165-170mm. So this 'sedan ground clearance bad' bullshit needs to stop.
@@akashtopder7251 high time people start talking about approach angle in cars and move ground clearance to 2nd priority
When it comes to highway comfort nothing can beat sedans
Meine 600 km fortuner me Travel kiya tha rear Seat pe... Muje koi Kaate Nahi Chubhe mast comfortable thi
you should make a video about -"why people buy SUVs instead of sedans" and SUV nowadays are not actually SUVs, only crossovers made to look like SUVs, Pseudo SUVs.
Nice video …..This video helps us lot ….while choosing SUV or Sedan👍
I was on my way to delhi in honda city with my parents , nobody felt tired . We enjoyed the ride . I drove diesel version and it gave average of more than 28 km/lt
Jisko Scorpio pasand thak aaj se 15yr pehle wo ek SUV lover hei
Aur jisko Honda City pasand tha o ek sedan lover hei
Best is upcoming coupe SUVs , it is a sedan with SUV like ground clearance tata curvv , Citroen basalt, unnamed Mahindra, Renault arkana, Renault rafale, etc
In Indian roads, SUV makes sense. Unless the roads improve, Sedans won’t make sense.
Cons of sedans vs SUV-
1. Low driving visibility- low height and direct high beam of oncoming vehicles into eyes.
2. Off road capability- Smaller tyres and less suspension travel, less comfort on uneven roads.
3. Negligible importance of aerodynamics and high speed cornering ability on indian roads due to safe speed below 60kmph on most roads.
4. Length of car and low approach departure angle makes it difficult to park and easy to bump on Indian speed breakers and culverts. Not a practical option.
copy from biturbo 😅😅
As a suv driver hatchback are more comfortable and easy to drive❤
Because Indian roads aren’t like European roads .
When India had poor roads.. hatchback were king of the roads. Now with better roads and highway SUV are the king. Sedans were, are and will be a charm for selective few.
Its a fool to buy a sedan especially in Monsoon when the roads are pretty mess up where i live.

😆
I feel bad for hatchbacks, I really liked Brio, Spark, AStar, Beat ... people want more space in less cost, safety doesn't matter much for them..sigh!
A star ⭐ 💕
@@Retrowheelsmedia i do not know why the hell Maruti stopped the production of A star. That's the only beautiful hatchback Maruti had that time...Espresso na band karenge 😂
India considering traffic and space we require actually hatch back with more fuel efficient like Swift or Tata EV product
TATA Tigore is having good ground clearance as compared to others.but its a small car..I would say people shud buy this car if any one is thinking to buy Hatch back instead..
I live in metro city, and i have three main approaches to my home ,
1 one is very very bad up and down , they dug for drainage and never asphalted it
2 second approach is narrow and even my elevate makes it difficult to pass through albeit a wide bodied slavia or a virtus
3 the third approach road is good but its occupied by bikes on the both sides
So a above all the best path for me is that up and down road which is big enough, so i use that road everyday
And my father's rapid easily gets scrapped
After all these the highways are even worse , for every road divertions due to work the ugly speed breakers eats away my fathers rapids under belly.
After all these my city is riddled with metro work
So how on earth the government can ask me to buy a small car?
Or even the NCAP saying indians buying sedans are worrying , seriously?
Yes sedan cars sales should be encouraged....
Unless all roads are awesome low cars are not going to be in priority. When car hits minor bumpers and speed breakers and half the speed breakers dont even have colors on them to see at all. Suv hence becomes the choice as it gives peace of mind that at least the road wont slap the bottom of the car and you feel in control.
ek aur baat sedan thodi premium look bhi deti hai
Length of parking space is the reason for SUV growth, not everyone can afford a parking space for a homda city. Thats why the most popular sub is nexon. A sub 4 metre SUv.
Best bhai bahut jankari wlai video banai hai
You make absolute sense. Congratulations🎉 I am sure this will become a fast growing channel with the high quality and clarity u offer.
Who are those watching this video after watching Biturbo media yt channel on same topic hit like button😅
TATA ZEST was the only Sedan Car which has got very Good Ground Clearance..
Wow bro so good content I was shocked when I saw less subscribers u deserve more ❤
I've honda amaze car purchased in sep 23 nice comfort, mileage, love sedan , didn't faced any ground clearance issue.
Is it manual? Any pickup issues in first gear?
@@aswanthmadhav4562 it's CVT transmission, no any pickup issue as per my experience. Since sep 23 my car has covered almost 5100 kms.
Sedan is supreme luxury ❤️🔥❤️🔥
I personally love the parcel tray that we get in crossovers. Plus ground clearance.
But yes, buying is more of a trend I feel.
Sedans are the best if conditions are met. But in India, speed breakers, potholes, and rough roads are almost everywhere. I prefer csuvs considering ground clearance, space, commanding seating, practical dicky space etc. Only need to consider aerodynamics if we are travelling above 100kmph, which only happens very rarely on Indian roads.
Spot on and add to that , during the rainy season the more the ground clearance, the more chances of your car surviving
5:46 - Mileage ka spelling. The video was good and very informative
A sedan cannot challenge the versatility of an SUV. Especially in India where the roads are not maintained well.
We buy suv for worst roads in india and during rains it dont struck around clogged water..
What about ground clearance??
What about the parking problem?
What about the off roading?
Such types of problems are getting in sedan car .
That's why all persons converted for SUV.
Bhai already mention Kia kinko Leni chahiye Sedan sabke liye nhi bola hai . Baaki ek baat batao true SUV kitna hai India mein ?
Ground clearance is not a problem in mid size sedans. It's the More premium sedans that have this problem. Parking problems are an issue for SUVs too. SUVs are bigger and wider. Also Indians do not off road that much unless they are from mountains so it's a no issue.
Do you go offroad with your spresso?
Kiddar kr liya bhai off-roading. Aur normal scrape sab cars m hoti , issue ni h. Length can be a factor for many people but not for them who are buying real off road cars all are more than 4m or wider than jacked up hatchback. Aur haan I have taken my virtus to Nepal with no scrape
I havent seen any sedan better than Logan in India. It had better space, headroom, luggage, nvh levels, mileage, reliability, and most important Safety than any other sedan.
Nicely explained….thank you 👏🙏
Like your thinking bro 👊, same to same. I am lover of Sedans
I love sedan cars only because of its mileage , comfort , safety and yes indian roads have become much better. I was in london and the roads were as same as india❤
Buy a good batchback. Thats enough for India narrow city roads 💯
Bro deserves more subscribers😊
Very well covered ... Specially the point of its not a real suv .... It's just a box car
Easily explained and simplified video. Great job. Seen a video on similar topic on Biturbo Media.
Thanks
Ground clearance is the main issue...
Else all other including boot space will also be amazing...
Your presentation is superb brother 🏆🏆🏆
Thanks for the important information
Indian road conditions aur your mentioned factors ko dhyaan mein rkhte hue issilye aajkal crossovers are more in demand
I am not buying sedan because i live in a town where numerous breakers exist. how many times we drive on highway or expressway? Only occasionally most of the time we drive our car locally. Also the price of the sedan are not competitive
Honda City King of sedans 👑👑
Really Good content brother

I mean its not easy ,he put in the work. There is nothing wrong in copying. If we can copy something and add our touch and ideas to it then its ok. Best example is Toyota copying maruthi cars like baleno and making glanza.
Its not people’s fault, its government’s fault which make huge speed breakers, and uneven roads.
Soon u will get more and more subscribers
There should be few AWD Sedans / Coupe in India. not too costly. May be electric motors for rear.
Sedan is not suitable for city driving because of its long body. Also not easy to park in crowded places.
Make a video on Indian speed breakers
Sedans are better than Psuedo SUVs found in Indian Market.
Can't call them pseudo SUVs.
@@parthkulkarni1126 why?
Right
but sedans are not good according to Indian road conditions. Even though India is getting more and more highways, still there are some roads which are in need of great repair.
How about sedans cost bro? Is it cheap?
I was not willing to buy a Sedan because their price is not competitive
Proud sedan owner👍
Lets get this point clear to all you youtubers highlighting India's roads have improved -
- India's highways have dramatically improved in the last 10 years because of the excellent work done by BJP govt
- India's cities like Bangalore have pathetic roads, There roads exist on potholes & not the other way around
So as long as the roads of Cities and towns dont improve, buying SUVs makes sense any day
Tata should launch it's Altroz sedan version and Toyota should launch Ciaz's version as Belta in India doesn't matter if its a rebadged version.
No tata should launch their old indigo again by adding some features and that should be longer to compete with Verna, virtus, city, slavia, etc
@Biturbomedia bhai copy horaha hai tumhara content pure ka puraaaa
Ha Bhai Copy paste Kia hai
Sufficient ground clearance is a must for people living in small towns and villages, which sedans fail to provide. At least 200 mm if provided, it could help revive sedans.
Virtus and slavia provides 179 mm ground clearance which is similar to hatchback ground clearance so you can also buy these
Sedans --> Hatches --> Crossovers --> Sedans (when, I don't know. Maybe when the diesel ban comes into effect? Who would want a petrol fuel guzzling SUV!)
Only those who have money😂😂
Sedan days are over😊. All Hail SUV😊
I would have bought a sedan if there was any with a torque converter automatic under 15 lakhs. Well, there are none. I dont like cvt because of how it gives the rubber band effect.
Sedans are Not ment for Rough Roads... Crossover are Best 💯
I like Sedan Cars ❤❤❤
I prefer hatch vs sedans
I like sedans but headroom is an issue for tall passengers in the rear seats.
I have a jaguar sedan, practically no where in India they have made speed baker’s scientifically
Bro what's the difference b/w mileage & average?
Average - if a car travels 300 miles and consumes 12 gallons of fuel, the average fuel efficiency would be 25 miles per gallon.
Miledge - km per litre
I have sedan.
I am preferring to buy suv because
1. Ground clearance it gets bumped on huge jumps because of dumb village engineers.
2. In night because of high beam SUVs their light direct hits in eyes and you feel insecure and it creates blind spot for drivers.
I don't have confidence to drive sedan at night.
3. Only petrol options are available and having low mileage over diesel SUVs.
Koun si sedan h bhai tere pas
Why should we buy sedans because you suggest? SUV is better that's why it sells.
Who is the SUV ? creta ? Nexon ? Elevate ? Kushaq ? Bro First you should know what are SUVs !
@@Retrowheelsmedia those are also known as SUVs now. Doesn't has to be Jeep Wrangler
@@Retrowheelsmedia bro high GC is really helpful. Nd high commandimg seat position req for heavy traffic. Sedans don't make sense🤡❌

Brother just cheek my community tab . Logo ne recommend Kia hai isiliye banaya hai bhai inspiration lena aur copy karna farq hota hai
Agar speed breaker ka koi act banaya jaye to sedan ki jesi koi car nahi...
With the condition of the roads in India, it would be foolish to take a sedan without an SUV.
The roads are much better now in most places
@@Retrowheelsmedia You are right that the roads are much better than before, but still many village roads are very bad where sedan, hatchback, even micro suv is not possible. And in India most of the people are in villages so sedan is less.
@@arijitroynandi3724 i wonder how many villagers are buying suvs
Bhai ye ek pichde elake se hoga
😅😅😅😅
@@lockinhandle445 I think you can find out by yourself without asking me. And don't forget that all the rich people live in the city, there are people in the village who have more money than you. Okay
No ground clearance in Sedan
Indian road pe speed breaker bhi aate to sedan ko niche se tod dete
Suddenly multiple auto related content channels are saying the same thing - SUVs are over hyped and you should consider a sedan.
Makes you think , are they all paid to promote sedans by auto industry ?
Lol 😆
Arrey SUV mein ek ego hai, woh sedan mein kahan. Aur ego ke aage koi Nahi aa sakta. Video yeh banao ki SUV se zyaada accident hote hai yaa sedan se.
Sorry but still majority will buy SUVs. We don’t want low ground clearance Sedans as Indian roads are still bad in a lot of places unlike what you claimed. Highways might have improved, but in most cities roads are shit as local administration are all corrupt.
आपने दूसरा चैनल भी बना लिया
