part of my dad's job is helping small businesses make advertising decisions. He was talking to me about how more and more of them are individually deciding to stop advertising on twitter because they know how much of a cesspool it is.

Twitter has good things about it. As an artist, it's one of the least censoring sites. There's more interesting people on there. You can curate what you see by blocking certain terms or muting things. But it's just so damn messy. They keep adding and removing things nobody asked for. There is ground to define such a group as a Cartel given the power and influence of these companies, which of course is illegal.
