I have a tune 2013 concours. That pig rips bro! Unless you got skills it’s hard to keep up with a concours rider. I get hate from the 1000cc boys online who don’t even know what a concours is😂 yet here we are passing 600 & 1000’s!
They handle like a sportbike 100 percent, im buying another brand new left over 2018 tomorrow, these are great bikes, my 08 concours had like 70,000 miles on it & still ran great, they were hard miles....
I have the same bike and I know how fast they are... never thought of trying one on a track, but it looks like it was faster than those slowpokes who wouldn't get out of the way there. Great riding on your part too... nice vid.
Three local motorcyclists reported dead in suicide pact. Friends of the deceased say they never recovered after being humiliated by a motorcycle known only as "The Silent Assassin." They request that out of respect, no GTR-14 riders bring their motorcycles to the funeral services.
WoW!!, I have a 2014 Concours 14 and tooo seeeee this is mind Blowing. This rider is bad ass, the first few minutes were kind of boring like something was wrong, then this guy just turns it on and goes PRO!! Freakin BADASS, I'm a instant Fan. Enjoyed the video and laughed at the end how you just shadow that guy when you could have easily jetted by. Really Good Video.
The Kawasaki doesn't have a lot of electronics.. But it does have a lot of speed! Especially considering a drive shaft bike ...10.8 1/4 mile! 167 top speed.
Great job!!! Who says pigs can’t fly? You killed it out there. I own a 2019 Connie. Very impressed with the vid! Please tell me you had the bags on her when you were passing guys!!! 😂👍
Missing a mirror did you down it already? Looks like great fun. I'm wanting to pick one of these up for a trip but I'll probably hit the track in topeka too! Super cool man
Probably chin mounted. That's what all the good videos have. Need an external mic placed in a wind free spot for the good sound. Inside the tail section works well but having wires everywhere is a bitch
Coming from a Concours owner, I wish Kawasaki had made the Concours engine with a 12 to 1 compression ratio like their 1400 race bikes had or have. It would really compliment the concours which weighs near 700 lbs. Plus the factory tune is horrible. Really restricts the motor. Good riding such a big bike.
Liter bikes, killing it on the straights. Clogging it up in the corners. Nice work on a bike that weighs 150lbs more than some of the bikes you put in your wake.
Bridgestone t31, bone stock suspension, just tried to keep the temps within a reasonable temperature by checking with an IR gun at the end of every session, around 180deg f +or- 10 degrees, beyond 195ish I have noticed they get slippery and less predictable. Jacked up the front and rear preload to about 90% so I could get more clearance before dragging hardparts. Damping was set as hard as it would go but on stock suspension it's still somewhat soft. You can ride around it by being as smooth as possible but when hard on the throttle it tends to induce a sort of wallow from the rear instead of a smooth slide like a regular sportbike.
I've a '14 c14 new, zero problems, has saved my sorry ass many occasions, ill never use all its capabilities. ...thou, who can't go full out in a straight line, its fast.
@@Mario-ox1wc Good to know. I just got a used 2009. The guy I got it from had it set up full stiff (damping on max spring on max). I fixed that so it absorbs imperfections in the road instead of ricocheting off them, but that wallow on full acceleration is still there. I thought my bushings were toast. Sounds like theses bikes just do that.
Why not? The track let's you expand your skills on any motorcycle you ride. I'm taking mine this summer so I can really run it without worrying about everything there is to worry about on the streets. Wouldn't you want to be better than you are on whatever machine you have?
IT WOULD BE FUNNY TO PUT THE SADDLE BAGS ON WHILE MAKING LAPS JUST TO PICK AT THE SPORT BIKE RIDERS. I JUST BOUGHT A LEFTOVER 2019 TO REPLACE MY 2008 HAYABUSA. I ALSO HAVE A 2010 VOYAGER. I ENJOYED THE VIDEO, IT GETS MY ADRENALINE PUMPING. BTW WHAT HAPPENED TO THE RIGHT SIDE MIRROR, MAYBE A LITTLE TRACK SLIDE ?
I would love to run a track with you on my r1200rt. I was between the concours and the r1200rt until I rode them back to back in the I now have Just under 45000 miles and I am still very happy with my torque monster. My BMW still cranks wheelies like it did with ten miles I love it. I had been riding Kawasaki bikes from the age of 7 I will probably end up getting another after I get tired if the BMW I traded my 07 zx10r on my BMW. I only mad that choice because riding to Maine from nj wasn't fun for my back once I got to be 30 after I went from NY to flordia and back I decided the zx10r needs to be replaced with a sport touring bike. If anyone reads this ever please go ride a boxer engine BMW you will smile be ready to buy. Once the aftermarket goes crazy on the concours 14 I may get one as either as a replacement or just a second bike well a second touring bike lol I have 7 total now
This is a 700 pound, 151 HP sport touring bike. And my guy is slaying this track. Absolute mad man, I love it.

Todd Jacobs I just bought a 2019 leftover for 12300.00 out the door.
What repairs did you have to do to it?
@@noahdunaway is that 12300 pounds or dollars? I got a 2019 out the door for 14900 dollars and I thought it was a good deal.
@@heathmurtagh7728 dollars, I said out the door because I paid cash fort it but I did have pay almost a thousand in tax.

Great riding! Good to see what the GTR is capable of, thanks for posting
Why do I feel proud watching this, just because I've the same bike, it's the rider.
Wow, that is incredible riding! What a great bike!
I got tired just watching this! Mad respect considering how heavy that bike is.
Great video. Just what I was looking for.
I’d be so mad if I was on a liter bike, dragging my knee and still getting passed by that thing lol

Tremendo piloto de motoras con esa motora tan pesada haciendo maravillas.Increible!!!!!
Great riding buddy, love the scraping sound of the pegs. Good job and very controlled tracking.

A cycle mag has one tested at 10.56 at 129 I think.
I’m impressed, especially on that big heavy shaft drive bike with soft fork settings

I was thinking of buying one...now I know I definitely should 😂
3:45 over takes a Beamer… how you like them apples?
Im on my 2nd brand new C14, they are great bikes
Bitchin ride Brother !
That was fun to watch.....screeeetch.......peg sacrifice !
you are my hero... do you mind telling age,, also where was camera mounted; top, side , mouth area of helmet??

Ok, how many times did you crash the bike? No mirror on the right side and right side dash is gone.
Great riding 👌
Thank you for riding that big girl like I ride mine! People just don’t know! 😂😂😂
what tires were you running?
Wondering too.
+1 ? Really letting the front end go nicely. Curious about suspenion too. Traxion dynamics, ohlins, racetech?

Please tell me all of thos other bikes were 600's right?🤦🏾♂️
Nice riding!
What group were you riding in? Did you raise the pegs or was there enough ground clearance?
There was lots of Concours 14 peg dragging.
I did hear them dragging @@psycotria
sir thank you for the video

Great Rider !
Must be your head bouncing around with the camera on it.... Suspension couldn't be that bad.... ??? 😮
Is the camera bobbing from the wind or track surface? I'm asking because I am in Houston and wouldn't mind trying this track out.
A bit of both and also due to suspension. The comfy suspension on the Concours tends to wallow a bit over imperfections especially when accelerating.
