Tracker on the bottom makes for better weight distribution. Tracker on the top makes the light come from higher up and can, in some cases, be more flattering. So it depends on your situation.

I bought this one due to its compact, AI track, and light and I love the remote control over Hohem M6(I have it) and cheap(Canadian 143$).

I just bought this V3, but also habr the Hohem MT2 and V2 (love that it's TINY with AI!). You are also only one so far mentioning the ability to move the module position. This gimbal is my choice for every day filming with my family… V2 was always used around the house, this one will be the same… it is not for advanced filming though.. if I wanted to do professional professional filming for my channel, I would use a stronger gimbal

Those two gimbals are not really the same same category… v3 is more like small gimbal on the go and for social media… M6 can handle a lot more weight and it is more for advanced filming and serious filming

So, it looked to me that this was slightly smoother in tracking than the Insta just released. That said the Insta360 can do more than 365°. The million dollar question is which is best?

I would go with Hohem.. as Insta360 is purely made for iPhones. It is a little bit bigger phone though so don’t be surprised if the motors are a little bit struggling.

According to Hohem's iSteady v3 manual it seems like the max video resolution is 1080p60, 4k60, max timelapse resolution is 4k30, max slow motion resolution is 720 8x, and max resolution for dynamic zoom is 1080p30. When comparing it to the Flow Pro with dockkit integration, it seems according to the Flow Pro's documentation that the max video resolution of the gimbal modes is more: The max timelapse resolution is 4k,60fps, max slow motion is 1080p 240fps, and max dolly zoom is 4k,60fps which are all better than Hohem's iSteady v3 except the hyperlapse/timeshift seems like its max is 4k30 same as Hohem. Wondering if your video can touch on these aspects? If all of this is true, it seems like if one has an iPhone its likely better to go with the Flow Pro because of the max video resolution supported. And even though the Flow Pro has limited tilt degrees compared to the Hohem v3, by using the selfie stick part you can increase the tilt degree function even if its not the most ideal solution but atleast you get the max video resolution available. Also does the Apple Watch have integration with the Insta360 flow pro to control it remotely? Then it may be similar to having a remote like the Hohem v3.
If you’re using one of the main rear cameras with the module set to track you and on top, then you go to portrait mode, the tracking sensor is blocked by the arm so I’ll always be using it at the bottom…

Hello Zednka, Question please… I have a iPhone 14 Pro Max I take videos while riding my motorcycle. The phone holder I use holds my phone in portrait mode. **To achieve video stabilization I have to use the 0.5x lens. I wanted to achieve a couple of improvements. 1) wider field of view 2) bring the subjects closer to me Would you be so kind to recommend a solution for me please . i.e. add on lenses ? If you are already using 0.5x lens I’m afraid there is not something wider than that… you could try to use wide lens over main camera, but it’s not going to give you such a wide view as 0.5x

Oddly enough, even thought the m6 has a smaller battery, it is listed to last 18 hours, with the ai tracking and the full light on it last 6 to 8 hours. But the v3 battery is 3600 and it last 13 hours, and with the light a tracking it’s just 4 to 5. So I don’t know what going on.
It’s not old technology…. That gimbal is for more advanced filming so you’re good…, and you’ll gimbal is always coming out almost every week so it’s hard to keep up with what is the latest

I don’t think you can use the DJ I make because it is specifically made for the DJI gimbal’s… I would have to test it to know for sure

I think you should have highlighted the relatively limited tilt axis range more prominently. -35 to 45 degrees is not that good.
These travel gimbals have all small range when it comes to tilt

Don’t get confused.. this gimbal is mainly for social media and every day use. It is not for advanced filmmaking as the other two gimbals.

Yes it is in the app. You can do object tracking there.. the ai sensor only works for people

You cannot turn on the gimbal without the phone in it. You can damage motors .. please read manual first before you use it

Hi zdenka, if you use 60fps on s24 ultra with hohem joy app does it stay 60fps, i have heard on other android it goes down to 30fps is that right?

Or just turn on autofocus tracking on your S24 Ultra and stabilize the phone, it already does what this device is supposed to do, and in 4k 120fps.

Oh great i just bought the M6 ...old technology.🙄
It’s not old technology…. That gimbal is for more advanced filming so you’re good…, and you’ll gimbal is always coming out almost every week so it’s hard to keep up with what is the latest
Note that Galaxy 23 or 24 as used in the video are the ONLY Android phones that seems be able to shoot in 4K 60FPS according to Hohem. Useless.
