The Lord only put this series in front of me last night because we have arrived🙈So many teachers preaching pre tribulation rapture as definite, it's incrediblely irresponsible & arrogant. Thank you for this message. I wasn't able to deal with II Thess 2 for decades...as a writer, the way it has been interpreted to me by well-known teachers made no sense. I prayed to the Lord, "The Thessalonians surely understood the order of events after Paul wrote his second letter to them. So why is there so much confusion among believers and teachers? It shouldn't be this way." I prayed this prayer more and more often. Then one day several months ago, I read verse 2 differently, prompted by the Holy Spirit. Instead of Day of the Lord, which was the source of all my confusion, I read Day of Christ as being the Rapture. All of a sudden my eyes were opened. The meaning was straightforward and clear. Day of the Lord is not the correct reading. This passage is saying the Apostasy and the Revelation of AC will come before the Rapture. If you insist on a pretrib rapture (which is what I leaned toward) you will never be able to read this passage correctly because you need to make it fit your preconceived framework.
I have learned that whenever something happens that affects everyone worldwide is because God is calling his church to be prepared for what’s coming. The majority is accustomed to go to church and just listen but have taken the time to go deeper into scripture that’s why there is so much confusion. For many of us our bubble just popped. Our faith is going to be tested through fire. Please Jesus pray for us so that our faith may never fail when we are facing hate, persecution, jail and even death.

I studied 2 Thes for months and finally came to the same conclusion as Baruch. Paul had taught the people there but they forgot. Deceivers taught them they had been left behind. They were scared and wrote a letter to Paul. He reminded them of 2 things that must happen before the resurrection and rapture. He said the falling away (the apostasy) must happen AND the man of sin must be revealed! They knew those things had not happeded so that would calm their fears.

Amazing teaching, the Red Horse is likely when the restrainer, probably the Holy Spirit, withdraws from all mankind and rest only on believers and this sets up the black horse. The black horse is good for believers, don’t hurt the oil and the wine!

I think Baruch has good interpretation about the restrainer. I only discovered him yesterday and this is the 2nd video of his I have watched. It seems God is confirming what I have come to believe. I've been swimming against the current of popular opion for over 20 years. But being popular or in the majority does not mean you are right. The majority never believed Israel would be a nation again. But God said He would gather them and in 1948 He raised the nation from the dead.

Excellent teaching, Baruch. I believe a Biblical view of the restrainer would lead us to Michael the archangel. It is he who restrains Satan (and lawlessness; 2 Thess 2:7) from the people of God throughout history. He is removed from serving as the restrainer when Satan is cast down to the earth. Revelation 12:9 "And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world-he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him." Revelation 12:10 "And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, 'Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.'" Revelation 12:11 "And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death." Revelation 12:12 "Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!” Blessings
I believe you can make the case the second use of the word "child" in Revelation 12:5 is referring to all saints in salvation history who are resurrected/raptured. Revelation 12:5 (ESV) "She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne." I recommend starting with the Greek words for child, huios and teknon, respectively. The prophecy is in the future, when Satan is cast down to the earth. Revelation 2 informs us that the saints of God will also rule with an iron rod, in the authority of Christ in His coming kingdom. Revelation 2:26-27 "The one who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations, 27 and he will rule them with a rod of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received authority from my Father." As a kingdom of priests (royal priesthood), glorified saints will judge the twelve tribes of Israel (Matthew 19:28), the world (1 Corinthians 6:2), and angels (1 Corinthians 6:3), in the coming messianic kingdom, and in the authority of Christ, our Lord. I’m confused about the Day of Christ not being the same as the Day of the Lord. Christ is Lord so how can He not be referring to the same day? I have difficulty believing God’s Word would be so confusing on these terms that one would need to be a language scholar to catch these subtle differences which change the whole of end time events. Robert Van Kampen says “the end of the age, the Day of the Lord, and the day of judgment,” all refer to the same thing, which will happen after believers have been delivered. Page 86 of “THE RAPTURE QUESTION ANSWERED, PLAIN AND SIMPLE”

The woman flees and then is at the marriage super in a cloud, from which the woman is give two great wings of an eagle, to fly into her place from the gathering in the clouds to Israel, probably mountains. so this rapture and the one you are talking about is a temporary rapture
You will notice that the Bride is ready for the marriage and the marriage supper is after the 7th bowl of wrath (see Rev. 19). And it appears the marriage is consummated after the creation of the New Heavens and earth (see Rev. 21:1-2). There is no marriage supper during the Great Tribulation.
I agree with Baruch- the AC does not have to be Jewish. Israel may accept his peace offer but that does not mean they accept him as the Messiah. When the temple gets rebuilt and the AC enters the holy place where only a Jewish high priest is allowed to go - that will defile the place - will he be Jewish? - I don't think so, even if he was it would define the place unless he was the high priest. I think he will be a gentile - making a bad sin even worse - hence - not just a sin but an abomination - a worst of sins. Perhaps he will even be Islamic?

Doctor Daniel's 70th week begins when the prince who is to come confirms a covenant with many. When the Lamb of God removes the first seal, a man rides out on a white horse. He has a bow, a bow like the bow God placed in the sky as a sign of His covenant with Noah. I think that when Yeshua removed the first seal and released the white horse that was the antichrist with a bow that was the confirmation of the covenant. According to Daniel 9:24-27, the 70th week be begins with the confirming of a covenant which is represented by the first seal with the man on the first horse being released with a bow representing the signing of the covenant which begins Daniel's 70th week and the period referred to as the tribulation.
WHY were these believers so upset? The answer is very simple. They had Paul's first letter that clearly shows the rapture before the Day of the Lord. They believed they would be caught up BEFORE the Day. Of course they were upset. They had been told that the Day of the Lord had already started and they were IN IT!
Thank you pastor Baruch for the teaching, but with respect I do not believe in the rapture. Because those verses not talking about we being with Yeshua in heaven instead the meeting in the air. And be with Yeshuaz and thappened after the resurrection of the believers. If believers are in heaven before the judgement day, then we contradicted the bible, because God's judgment is for all, and before that no one is ascended to heaven. I think the gathering of the believers with Yeshua in the air to ve with him, is talking about His 1000 years kingdom...when believers indeed together with Yeshua.
We meet him in the air, at Last trump. Its very clear. 1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

It was first resurrection, there will be second resurrection. And bible is very clear no one will ascend to heaven before last judgment for all us righteous and sinners. And the idea that only Jews will face tribulation when the believers are exempted from.that sounds very strange from biblical point of view.
The Day of Christ stands to be the same as The Day of The Lord, as referring to His return...... We will be gathered to Him from all corners of the Earth It will be: The Day of His Coming The Day of His Wrath The Day of Judgement The Day of Revealing and more! "THE DAY of THE LORD"
2 Thes. 2 is misunderstood by much of the church. First, Paul sets the theme: the rapture He taught them about in the first letter. Most people form their theory on the added words added to verse three. Read verse two in the Amplified text and these people thought that the Day of the Lord had already started and they were IN IT. Now note the second half of verse 3: in most of the English translations, the man of sin IS revealed-not in reality, but in Paul's argument. Yet, if we examine verses 6-8, we see that the man of sin CANNOT be revealed until the power that is restraining that revealing has departed. In other words, the power must have departed BEFORE verse 3b where we find the man of sin already revealed. What am I saying? There can be no doubt, somewhere in verse 3a, the power restraining must be removed or departed. Several of the first translations into English translated apostasia, as a significant departing! How can we know what Paul had in mind here? Simple! Refer back to Paul''s theme: the gathering or departing of the church. Next, in verse 6 Paul wrote, "and now you know who is restraining." Why would Paul write these words? Simple: he just told the readers, but did it in a hidden manner-probably written this way so that if his letter fell into Roman hands, they would not understand it.
I agree that the Tribulation does not take place the entire 7 years of Daniel's 70th week. For over 20 years I was influenced by the teachings I first read in the book by Hal Lindsey - The Late Great Planet Earth. Those teachings came from John Walvoord - president of the Dallas Theological Semiary where Lindsey attended. Then I began to question the teaching of imminecy. From there I began to question when the Tribulation would begin. Like Baruch, I could not find in the Bible anywhere that the Tribulation was directly linked to a 7 year period. Instead, I found it linked to a 3 1/2 time span. There were so many books on prophecy it became confusing. So I decided to lay those aside and search the Bible. Who would know more about it than our Lord Jesus Himself? So I searched the entire Bible to find places where Jesus spoke about the Tribulation. To my surprise I only found one time He spoke about the Tribulation (not tribulation in general that we all experience all the time). It was recorded in 2 different books. Here is what our Lord Jesus Himself says about THE Tribulation - in Mark chapter 13 - 14 “So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 15 Let him who is on the housetop not go down into the house, nor enter to take anything out of his house. 16 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 17 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 18 And pray that your flight may not be in winter. 19 For in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be. So when does THE Tribulation begin according to God the Son ? It begins after the ' abomination of desolation.' That is commonly believed to be in the middle of what is called Daniel's 70th week.
WHAT is the abomination from Daniel? Paul tells us: the man if sin will enter the most holy place in the temple and declare He is God. Since this man is coming AS the Messiah, of course He will enter the Holy of Holies.
Jesus called the second half the great tribulation. Matthew 24:21 NKJV [21] For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.
"Day of the Lord" vs "Day of Christ?" Is not Christ our Lord? These two terms both refer to the Day of His wrath-that dark day that comes with wrath and fierce anger, According to Isaiah 13. Apostasia...a compound word made up of Apo and Stasia. What does Strong tell us about Apo? "1. of separation… 1A. of local separation, 1B. of separation of a part from the whole 1Bi. where of a whole some part is taken 1C. of any kind of separation of one thing from another… 1D. of a state of separation, that is of distance 1Di. physical, of distance of place" At the rapture, will some part of the entire population be taken? You know the answer is YES. Will those taken be separated by DISTANCE? Again the answer is YES. The other part of the compound word 'stasia" is where we get "stationary" or "not moving" from. Putting these two words together then can certainly mean a part of a whole group suddenly moved from where they were to a new location, and it happen so fast, the rest of the whole group seems stationary - not moving. In other words, according to Strong, Apostasia can CERTAINLY fit Paul's rapture.
"The Tribulation!" What is it? The answer is SO SIMPLE: it is the time of Jacob's trouble and it is the time of Daniel's 70th Week. It is a seven year period of time that will end the Jewish age-the very age the disciples were asking Jesus about in Matthew 24. In Revelation the 70th week is delineated with sevens: the 7th seal officially begins the week, the 7th trumpet marks the exact midpoint, and the week will end with the 7th bowl or vial. The trumpet judgments will make up the first half of the week, and the bowls will come late in the week and will end the week. Where is the rapture in this? The rapture will come before God's wrath, which will begin at the 6th seal. Since 6 always comes before 7 in counting, the church will not see the 70th week.
The “tribulation” began when JESUS SAID “IT IS FINISHED” HE set an example for us , ,John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” The Invented great tribulation was created by the Jesuits! INVENTION OF THE RAPTURE IDEA ! Rapture-removal is not the historic teaching of the Church. One of the more astonishing facts in the history of eschatological thought, and one that most Christians are unaware of, is that the idea of “a secret pre-tribulation, Rapture removal from the earth of the Church” is a fairly recent theory in Church history. In theological circles, it’s a “Johnny come lately.” Even the historic creeds, conspicuously, don’t mention it. In fact, it was relatively unheard of and never taught until the early 19th century, and it didn’t become widespread until the 20th century. Since then, it has spread like wildfire. But the many failed predictions of its coming have made it an embarrassment.
Ah, Rabbi Korman, this is where you are dead wrong. Nowhere in the Bible is the doctrine of the trinity. Is there parity between Jesus and the Father ,Yes in that the one sent is equal to the one who sent Him, but you will not fine one scripture that speaks of the “trinity “ nor will you find a scripture that says the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit are equal in position and power. Jesus himself said “ the Father is greater than I “

All of Israel’s end time prophecies were rescinded/canceled by her refusal to accept God’s proposal of remarriage through his Son, Jesus Christ, in Acts 28:28-31 KJV! Believers need to stop beating that dead horse and use their zeal for the gospel to go forth and invite the lost to accept the gift of God in Ephesians 2:8&9 KJV; the gift that literally has NO STRINGS ATTACHED! I prayed to the Lord, "The Thessalonians surely understood the order of events after Paul wrote his second letter to them. So why is there so much confusion among believers and teachers? It shouldn't be this way." I prayed this prayer more and more often. Then one day several months ago, I read verse 2 differently, prompted by the Holy Spirit. Instead of Day of the Lord, which was the source of all my confusion, I read Day of Christ as being the Rapture. All of a sudden my eyes were opened. The meaning was straightforward and clear. Day of the Lord is not the correct reading. This passage is saying the Apostasy and the Revelation of AC will come before the Rapture. If you insist on a pretrib rapture (which is what I leaned toward) you will never be able to read this passage correctly because you need to make it fit your preconceived framework.

I have learned that whenever something happens that affects everyone worldwide is because God is calling his church to be prepared for what’s coming. The majority is accustomed to go to church and just listen but have taken the time to go deeper into scripture that’s why there is so much confusion. For many of us our bubble just popped. Our faith is going to be tested through fire. Please Jesus pray for us so that our faith may never fail when we are facing hate, persecution, jail and even death.

I studied 2 Thes for months and finally came to the same conclusion as Baruch.
Paul had taught the people there but they forgot. Deceivers taught them they had been left behind. They were scared and wrote a letter to Paul. He reminded them of 2 things that must happen before the resurrection and rapture. He said the falling away (the apostasy) must happen AND the man of sin must be revealed! They knew those things had not happeded so that would calm their fears.

Excellent teaching, Baruch. I believe a Biblical view of the restrainer would lead us to Michael the archangel. It is he who restrains Satan (and lawlessness; 2 Thess 2:7) from the people of God throughout history. He is removed from serving as the restrainer when Satan is cast down to the earth.
Revelation 12:9 "And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world-he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him."

I believe you can make the case the second use of the word "child" in Revelation 12:5 is referring to all saints in salvation history who are resurrected/raptured.
Revelation 12:5 (ESV) "She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to his throne."
I recommend starting with the Greek words for child, huios and teknon, respectively.
The prophecy is in the future, when Satan is cast down to the earth.

I’m confused about the Day of Christ not being the same as the Day of the Lord. Christ is Lord so how can He not be referring to the same day? I have difficulty believing God’s Word would be so confusing on these terms that one would need to be a language scholar to catch these subtle differences which change the whole of end time events. Robert Van Kampen says “the end of the age, the Day of the Lord, and the day of judgment,” all refer to the same thing, which will happen after believers have been delivered. Page 86 of “THE RAPTURE QUESTION ANSWERED, PLAIN AND SIMPLE”

I believe that rapture is at the second coming and not before.
Doctor Daniel's 70th week begins when the prince who is to come confirms a covenant with many. When the Lamb of God removes the first seal, a man rides out on a white horse. He has a bow, a bow like the bow God placed in the sky as a sign of His covenant with Noah. I think that when Yeshua removed the first seal and released the white horse that was the antichrist with a bow that was the confirmation of the covenant. They believed they would be caught up BEFORE the Day. Of course they were upset. They had been told that the Day of the Lord had already started and they were IN IT!

And be with Yeshuaz and thappened after the resurrection of the believers. If believers are in heaven before the judgement day, then we contradicted the bible, because God's judgment is for all, and before that no one is ascended to heaven. "THE DAY of THE LORD"
the day of the lord in revelations refers to the z Roman emperors day!
2 Thes. 2 is misunderstood by much of the church. First, Paul sets the theme: the rapture He taught them about in the first letter. Most people form their theory on the added words added to verse three. Read verse two in the Amplified text and these people thought that the Day of the Lord had already started and they were IN IT.
Now note the second half of verse 3: in most of the English translations, the man of sin IS revealed-not in reality, but in Paul's argument. Yet, if we examine verses 6-8, we see that the man of sin CANNOT be revealed until the power that is restraining that revealing has departed. In other words, the power must have departed BEFORE verse 3b where we find the man of sin already revealed.
What am I saying? There can be no doubt, somewhere in verse 3a, the power restraining must be removed or departed. Several of the first translations into English translated apostasia, as a significant departing! How can we know what Paul had in mind here? Simple! Refer back to Paul''s theme: the gathering or departing of the church.
Next, in verse 6 Paul wrote, "and now you know who is restraining." Why would Paul write these words? Simple: he just told the readers, but did it in a hidden manner-probably written this way so that if his letter fell into Roman hands, they would not understand it.
I agree that the Tribulation does not take place the entire 7 years of Daniel's 70th week. For over 20 years I was influenced by the teachings I first read in the book by Hal Lindsey - The Late Great Planet Earth. Those teachings came from John Walvoord - president of the Dallas Theological Semiary where Lindsey attended. Then I began to question the teaching of imminecy. From there I began to question when the Tribulation would begin. Like Baruch, I could not find in the Bible anywhere that the Tribulation was directly linked to a 7 year period. Instead, I found it linked to a 3 1/2 time span.
There were so many books on prophecy it became confusing. So I decided to lay those aside and search the Bible. Who would know more about it than our Lord Jesus Himself?
So I searched the entire Bible to find places where Jesus spoke about the Tribulation. To my surprise I only found one time He spoke about the Tribulation (not tribulation in general that we all experience all the time). It was recorded in 2 different books.
Here is what our Lord Jesus Himself says about THE Tribulation - in Mark chapter 13 -
14 “So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
15 Let him who is on the housetop not go down into the house, nor enter to take anything out of his house.
16 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes.
17 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 18 And pray that your flight may not be in winter.
19 For in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be.
So when does THE Tribulation begin according to God the Son ?
It begins after the ' abomination of desolation.'
That is commonly believed to be in the middle of what is called Daniel's 70th week.
And you will notice Jesus talks about his coming that it will be "after the tribulation of those days..." So it had to be Post trib.
WHAT is the abomination from Daniel? Paul tells us: the man if sin will enter the most holy place in the temple and declare He is God. Since this man is coming AS the Messiah, of course He will enter the Holy of Holies.
Jesus called the second half the great tribulation.

[21] For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.
How did the first game of the world series end
"Day of the Lord" vs "Day of Christ?" Is not Christ our Lord? These two terms both refer to the Day of His wrath-that dark day that comes with wrath and fierce anger, According to Isaiah 13.
Apostasia...a compound word made up of Apo and Stasia. What does Strong tell us about Apo?
"1. of separation…

1B. of separation of a part from the whole
1Bi. where of a whole some part is taken
1C. of any kind of separation of one thing from another…
1D. of a state of separation, that is of distance
1Di. physical, of distance of place"
At the rapture, will some part of the entire population be taken? You know the answer is YES.
Will those taken be separated by DISTANCE? Again the answer is YES.
The other part of the compound word 'stasia" is where we get "stationary" or "not moving" from.
Putting these two words together then can certainly mean a part of a whole group suddenly moved from where they were to a new location, and it happen so fast, the rest of the whole group seems stationary - not moving.
In other words, according to Strong, Apostasia can CERTAINLY fit Paul's rapture.

"The Tribulation!" What is it? The answer is SO SIMPLE: it is the time of Jacob's trouble and it is the time of Daniel's 70th Week. It is a seven year period of time that will end the Jewish age-the very age the disciples were asking Jesus about in Matthew 24.
In Revelation the 70th week is delineated with sevens: the 7th seal officially begins the week, the 7th trumpet marks the exact midpoint, and the week will end with the 7th bowl or vial. The trumpet judgments will make up the first half of the week, and the bowls will come late in the week and will end the week.
Where is the rapture in this? The rapture will come before God's wrath, which will begin at the 6th seal. Since 6 always comes before 7 in counting, the church will not see the 70th week.

Rapture-removal is not the historic teaching of the Church. One of the more astonishing facts in the history of eschatological thought, and one that most Christians are unaware of, is that the idea of “a secret pre-tribulation, Rapture removal from the earth of the Church” is a fairly recent theory in Church history. In theological circles, it’s a “Johnny come lately.” Even the historic creeds, conspicuously, don’t mention it. In fact, it was relatively unheard of and never taught until the early 19th century, and it didn’t become widespread until the 20th century. Since then, it has spread like wildfire. But the many failed predictions of its coming have made it an embarrassment.
