Culture is upheld by woman training the very young in the values in adults today. My mother read books to me when I was young. But before bedtime she read the Bible through with me. The role of women in our society is utmost important. She was a wonderful support to my Dad and his work. She held the family together in the worst of times. Like wise my father taught me how to be a man. Family roles are so important. My parents are my heroes. They are why I know God.
excellent handling of a very difficult ( from a worldly perspective ) subject but if it written clearly in the Word then as women we must adhere to it.....not complicated at all.
When I consider the work and study that you put into these videos I must also consider that no wife and Mother would ever have the time to do this without neglecting another area of her life.

Women in Paul's time were uneducated and did not visit schools or universities. I became a schoolteacher, and with my certification in basic theology (in Germany we do have a schoolsubject called religion/ethics from grade 1 -6) I was allowed to teach religion at school. The classes were mixed, boys and girls. Should I have refused to teach bible in school classes? - To me it was a gift because I was able to present the Good News of Christ and the Jewish roots of Jesus Christ in comparison to Buddhism or Islam in grade 5&6; also I will never forget the 3rd and 4th graders who loved to learn hebrew words and songs! I did my best to open their eyes for the Jewish Messiah Yeshua. Was all this wrong? - What shall women do if they attend a congregation where wrong teachings are presented by a man, when they cannot talk/teach this particular man/ leader who is presenting wrong teachings? Is the only possibility to leave the church?

None of what you did was wrong, women are permitted to teach all children.
We are accountable to God, not man. If God tells a woman to teach or preach, she must honor God. My mother-in-law was called to preach and she did.
My mother has over 30 yrs in ministry as a pastors wife. My father passed away from cancer and in that transition, she heard the Lord ask that she shift jobs even though it was not what she wanted to do. It’s been 6 months and she’s done it through obedience. She spends countless hrs preparing every week and preaches the Word of God as interim pastor. God uses women in the Bible and the culture in that time was vastly different from today. If God asks you of something, should you reject? I believe He can utilize whomever He wishes.

Dr. Baruch, I would have liked you to mention Deborah, since people who support women preachers use this Biblical portion a lot as an argument to say that God also uses women in ministry and that women can have authority over men allowed by God . Anyway, the teaching was incredible, and I looked for it in Spanish but I didn't find it; It is a pity that there is not in Spanish, although in English I did not understand 100% of the words, the message was very clear to me.

I thank you , Dr. Baruch, for this teaching and all of your teachings, but I wonder if you and your team read the comments? Many people seem to have questions, important ones, and since the comments are activated, it would be nice to get feedback on those questions. I have one myself: I live in a very 'ungodly' region of Canada, a French-speaking province, where people are completely spiritually blind. And not only are they spiritually blind, but many are ignorant to the things happening in this world because of their lack of the English language, given that the international language is English and many events appear on English media. The French media here is very local and separatist. In other words, people don't hear the truth. Since I received a prophetic word from the Lord years ago, telling me I would 'speak His word' and 'prophecy' and people will be blessed and ministered to, and I will 'sing and play music (piano) for His glory'; lately it's been on my heart to read Scripture on RUclips and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to lead people to Christ. Is that wrong? I don't see how it could be. I would never think of being 'a pastor' of a church. But to read and explain the Word of God on RUclips to this lost community, what is wrong with that? I really need to pray and really need a confirmation now, because I was supposed to go ahead with my first video this week. I am thinking 2 things: God wanted me to see this to stop me, or the devil is afraid of me and the power of the Holy Spirit which abides in me, and he is the one who wants to stop me. I will wait and seek further guidance.

I always believe it is not right for women to be Pastors I look at it and just believing she only want to be above the men..women have their place in the church. But not to be a pastor, Jesus did not call any woman to be an Apostle. Just like Adam allow eve. So men allow women to be over them in the church, the homes on the jobs.
I find a lot of people have a lot of opinions on this subject and that's where i feel people are falling down on finding out the truth of what this scripture really means. If we really and truly want to know what these scriptures mean on women not preaching and teaching then we need to humbly go to god himself and ask him through the guidance of the holy spirit to teach us the truth of the scriptures on this. I find a lot of people who have the opinion that women should preach have never truly humbly studied the scriptures on this subject themselves they have just been told by people that this was a culture thing back then or they have come to the belief that women should preach out of their own prideful opinion. I really and truly think we can only have the right to an opinion when we have went off prayerfully and studied this subject with the help of the holy spirit. I as a woman used to preach and teach to men and i won't anymore because i humbly starting asking the lord himself what he thought of it ( and believe me deep down i didn't want to hear that women should not preach) and he has shown me because i sought him with all my heart that women are not designed to preach and im ok with that because i totally get it now it makes perfect sense. So if you study the scripture properly in Timothy when Paul explains the reason why a woman should not teach or preach is because eve was the first to be decieved not Adam and then go back to genesis 3 where this is mentioned you will see why he said that and it's because a curse was placed on her because of the fall to control her husband ( this wasn't god's order from the beginning that's why he also mentions the fact that Adam was created first so he is pointing out god's correct order for creation) but now she needed to be tamed by her husband because of sin so god had to put that rule in place to make sure there was correct order so there would be a flow of peace and blessings in the family home so when women preach or teach they are going against god's order for creation so she is therefore a bad example of the order of creation so therefore other women and men will see this as natural order and will not want to do anything about the natural tendency of a woman to control her husband which only takes away the life and blessings and peace that god desires to give us in our home and in the world around us plus women think with their emotions and can make very bad decisions our of that but men don't think or rule with their emotions they think and rule practically and rationally. It's not that women are not good enough to teach or preach they are because as Baruch says in this teaching if you listen to the full lot that women can teach other women and they can teach boys and girls in Sunday school. So it's not that men and women are not equal they simply have different strengths and abilities and eve is designed to help not to overtake which most women will do if their husbands allow it but they only loose out on what god wants to give them. We have to remember that god is a life giver he knows how his creation works best the same way a woman is not designed for another woman in intimate relationships or a man is not designed for a man it's goes against god's original physical and spiritual laws and if we go against god's order well then the results are never good. God wants to give us life and life in abundance but when we have PRIDEFUL OPINIONS and rebel against gods order it's us that misses out nobody else. GOD IS A GOOD GOD 👑💛🙏✨

You have to remember who god is, god gives us free will and free choice to obey him or not to obey him and just because it's not god's will for women to preach doesn't mean that he's not with them in their teaching or preaching because god says in his word he will be with us till the end and that he will never leave us or forsake is just because god is with you and gives you scripture to preach and teach on and you feel his presence and anointing on your sermon doesn't mean that he approves just like if you go against god in any area of sin in your Life he is still there he is still with you and still loves you but we have to remember his unconditional love is not a stamp of his approval. He is always there wherever his word is preached even if it goes against his order so when women say god is ok with them preaching and teaching i think that's what they mean because as i said i used to preach and teach to men and that's how at the time i felt god approved of women teaching but now i see the truth of it after truly seeking him, so god is always with us and will always love us unconditionally and turn up for us no matter what we do ,so i believe it's our own responsibility to read the word and truly seek god on the proper meaning and to pray that God will help us to obey it.
I read the Bible on RUclips and do not teach, JUST READ THE BIBLE WITHOUT COMMENTARY. I do not teach, so I feel good in the spirit about this being acceptable to God. I would love to know if your studies show this to be wrong?
I think it's important to take into consideration here that Rabbi Shaul/Paul instituted this as a personal ruling of his own, "I do not permit a woman to teach". We are left with but a few lines of explanation when certainly a whole book on the subject would be most helpful. Rabbi's in his day were making up all kinds of rulings that were called "taqanot" which were referred to as "the traditions of the elders" when the Pharisees rebuked Yeshua for allowing his disciples to eat bread without washing their hands beforehand. We have many customs as well that are not commanded by G_d, like men wearing a yarmulke. The Rabbi's were constantly making up rulings that would differentiate Jews from the Nations so I think the custom of wearing the Yarmulke started after Rabbi Shaul/Paul's teaching on men's heads are not be covered. Non-Messianic Jews wanted to distinguish themselves from the Jewish believers who did not wear a head covering. In the Orthodox world today you have to put your socks on your feet under the bed covers before getting out of bed. To not be like the Gentiles you are also told which shoe to put on first. If you pass a reform or conservative synagogue you are to spit on the ground as you pass it. If you come upon a Christian church you cannot walk on the sidewalk in front of it but are to cross the street and walk past the church in that way. For those who barely have a grasp on all the Biblical commandments, it's hard to know what are Rabbinical rulings, halakah, customs, and traditions.
I went to a prayer group and a woman in the prayer group held her head in her hand in despise toward me for my message. And i just quoted bible. And she caused me to not be able to attend again. So blessed are the persecuted form the people who are already deceived. And reject the One who bought them. Bless u Rabbi.

I have a multi-layered question:
Can God give women revelation(s) given that they are not permitted to teach men?
Or given that they can teach women and (their) children - does God give revelation to women according to the roles they can uphold?
Basically, if a woman could get revelation about God - would it mainly be about personal needs and/or roles they can uphold - like revelation about how to teach other women to be good servants (to the church or husband)? Would a woman be given a revelation where she would need to stand in a group and speak to a group of men and usurp that command Paul gives by way of the Spirit? Or even a revelation where the woman would need to correct her husband or pastor/rabbi/leader?
The more I meditate on this topic the more questions I have. Just curious. I have seen in the old testament where God permits women to rule over men in certain circumstances (ie judgment on a nation) - and maybe a part 3 of this subject is needed to cover the times in the OT when women did have authority over men and why those times were special vs Paul's command that he doesn't permit a woman to teach.

I always thought that the man was always supposed to preach even though I've never read the Bible through and through to understand I've heard it by tape with my second husband who passed away I learned I learned but for it to stick in my mind something's doing some things don't but in my mind I've always known that the man is the head and whatever the man shall say is what it's supposed to be done Dr Baruch so I know that the woman is not supposed to be the preacher if I'm understand that right please let me know
I left the Methodist Church for a number of reasons, and ours choosing a lady pastor is just one of them. It seemed wrong to me. I think a congregation should reflect God's plan for marriage. Men and women have roles to fulfill in the church, and a righteous man should be the head of the church.

I just wanted to make it clear that the great commission is for the whole body of Christ. This is a command from Jesus. Some people get confused and say women are not to spread the gospel. We are to encourage EVERY Christian to tell about Jesus and through the help of the Holy Spirit living inside of us, we're able to save souls. This is the most important part of being a true Christian. God bless you all and pray that the lord of the harvest sends more workers into His harvest, amen!

Or no women pastors. I just think there’s more. Why is that in the bible. I’ve meant to study that for years. It hasn’t been a priority because there’s so much to learn biblically. That’s been at the bottom of my curiosity. But I do know I hunger and thirst to know His word.
@@renaarmstrong2838 I think for the same reason I am pointing out, that ALL of the church is to serve Jesus especially in spreading the gospel. No one is lower in God's eyes, He loves us equally. He isn't a respecter of persons, meaning He doesn't play favorites or show partiality. The Scriptures say that the holy men of God spoke by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, therefore Paul too spoke by inspiration of the Holy Ghost. There is no justification in saying that his statements in this passage are according to tradition or of his own. God said it and that's that. Boundaries are made to stop us from crossing them, the lack of men in leadership is not an excuse to replace them with a woman. If one leg is shorter than the other, a circle will be made when walking a long distance. The sure word of God will keep us walking in a straight path.

Even if you want to go by Catholics, they had a woman Pope. Mary Magdalene even spoke of religion. As protestant Baptist, we're all preachers in ourselves. God speaks through anyone. Pope's haven't quite understood they have to listen to the previous. To say she can't preach is to say they can't be.
It would be like saying a nun can't be a nun. They teach religion. That's a preacher. Like in Sunday School of many denominations. Would be like saying they can't have their schools. Traditionally, a Church Teacher is a woman. That's being a preacher.
When they question all this and that, but when you go there that's the exact thing there. It had already been in play. And they're arguing against what they are. They make no sense in themselves when they say they can't. They have that, but then they say not that. It's being liar. They commit the sin in the Church.

I agree there were women preachers. I agree with this teaching in regards to how we as women need to behave in quietness with a humble spirit because it is within that humility where true strength lies and holy influence can occur. I also do believe that women should not teach outside of the context of their calling. I don't believe that women can be pastors as it is in Scripture, but preaching is a different topic. We are all commissioned to spread the gospel. Also only married women were mentioned in this teaching and not that of single women. Women are called to be prophetesses as well and prophets speak the things of God and the message is not relegated to gender. God is not saying that a woman cannot teach, but it is the manner in which she teaches and to not be out of order with it. God cannot contradict Himself there are several mentions in both the old and new testament of women in being allowed to "preach" or to direct and to give instructions to people. Sometimes, it is our personal bias that changes the perception of how we understand Scripture. The faith that Timothy held was not initially developed by Paul, it was his mother and grandmother who taught Timothy the things of God because they were Jewish. His father was Greek.

Women are mentioned throughout the Bible in various capacities. There were no female priests, even in the chapters you noted. Do not be so zealous to contradict the word of the Lord. Disciples and servants are in no wise pastors. Nor is a prophetess a pastor, but one who receives a direct word from the Lord for a specific moment and purpose. Throughout the Bible women have instructed their children in the ways of the Lord, this is by the Lord's design.

Where has “God said”. Paul said as a leader of the assembly but I am more interested where in TORAH (GODS TEACHING) it says a woman is to remain silent?
The word of God truth and the lesson in this case is about formal teaching. Personally I think that males have not taken responsibility for their assigned roles. We lack Truth leadership in all the institutions of our society. This includes congregations being lead by males, a great number false prophets. Homes are being lead by females trying to raise boys and girls. I can only which that the same time spent teaching about women not preaching would have been spent on what it means for males, "to lit holy hands," clearly and within biblical principles. Any news gives a clear indication about the sad status of males truth leadership in society. Though the reasons why a women should not preached were reasonably explained, the requirements for lifting holy hands were hardly spoken off. Since G-d order is necessary one could not be addressed wihtout the other. This balance is necessary in Truth.

With all due respect if you are "looking at it in the original language" then you would read that it says "authenteins/is authenteining of/from a man or husband" which nobody knows for sure what it means and you would have seen that it does not say "have authority over" or "usurp." It just doesn't say that because you do not know for certain. That is a lie, it is misleading, it is deceitful, and it is not respecting God’s Word as you say you want to do. But it is disrespectful to women, other believers, to God, and the work of the Holy Spirit which many hinder because of carelessness and ignorance in handling the word, for you to say it is sinful for them to proclaim God's words so God can save another persons soul.
