+Josh Cu Yeah the song is right up until the outro. He is supposed to repeat the "remember when we swapped names..." but instead he goes into Dancing In The Dark by Bruce Springsteen
I love hearing a live song that sounds exactly like the studio version, you just dont see that that often anymore, so hearing this is sorta like a breath of fresh air!
I remember this one time me and my friend were doing LSD and I showed him a vid of Van covering a Killers song and my friend was like “Van truly has such a good voice” and I’ll never forget that. We saw Catfish back in 2019 and it was the best concert I ever seen.
i love this so much, i wanna cry, i love it how van says lots of "woo's" at the end, i love it when he screams and how his voice sounds like, i love his hair, i love the way he moves his head when he says "honey, thats alright", i love the "shhh" in minute 3:05 , i love the weird sound he makes at the beginning, and i love the fact that he always changes the lyrics of this song at the end
13dirty666 free no its not, some way or another they make money off you listening whether its through ads or not, i prefer to know my money is going yowards the artists in soem small way, plus i have more options than a radio station provides
Connor Barnett Sorry, you obviously don't know what Triple J is. It's a government funded radio station. So in a way, yes I am paying for them when I pay taxes, you could make that link, but when I pay taxes I'm paying the government who distribute the money how they please, not the radio station. So yes, I do listen to it for free
The backing guitar riff that ran from 0:20 for about 30 seconds drove me up the wall trying to remember what song I knew it from.... I felt like Kevin Bacon in Stir of Echoes tearing up his CD collection trying to place the tune..... Very reminiscent of the Kaiser Chiefs 'Modern Way' riff...
I'm having a legit eargasm listening to this LIKE IT SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE THE STUDIO VERSION OMFG THEY ARE SOOOOOO AMAZING gosh I'm so bummed I can't go to there concert this summer :(
This is like the funeral song of my last relationship if that makes any sense. I strived so hard to keep one person, forgave him for everything he did. Let him cry on my shoulder even if it was because of something he did wrong to me or whatever the matter might’ve been. I never wanted to lose him or disappoint him despite how many times he let me down in return. Moral of the story, when you love someone this much do not let them make a fool of you because it will absolutely crush you. Anyways, rant over! Love this song still, Catfish are underrated ❤️
Haha each to their own man. I actually don't mind their music all that much but I've always thought Luke Prichard was a massive bellend. I may be wrong. On the other hand, Van is a legend!
The sun goes down The stars come out And all that counts Is here and now My universe will never be the same I'm glad you came I'm glad you came .......
Van: *starts singing completely different song*
Rest of the band: *doesn't even flinch*
+Heather Martin He usually does that though to be fair.
+Daniel Simonini I know but it still makes me laugh overtime :')
yeah it is funny
+Heather Martin im sure he starts the song right doesn't he?
+Josh Cu Yeah the song is right up until the outro. He is supposed to repeat the "remember when we swapped names..." but instead he goes into Dancing In The Dark by Bruce Springsteen
I love hearing a live song that sounds exactly like the studio version, you just dont see that that often anymore, so hearing this is sorta like a breath of fresh air!
+princespeach90 well except for the Dancing in the Dark part. But yeah, besides that it does sound like the studio version :P
why would you want to hear something that sounds exactly like the recorded version?
@@humble7447 it’s just nice to hear someone sing just as well as they sound in the studio
Was thinking the exact same!
Was this 8 years ago 😮
3:51 bob looks at van like wtf is he singing, but when he realises he's like fuck yes this is the song
Acquiesce1999 what song is it
Dancing in the dark by Bruce Springsteen
Bless your soul
3:51 Bob was about to freak out...gave Van the look...bless
VAN LOOKS SO GOOD WHEN HE SINGS
Brilliant band. Van is a great man.
the rawness and emotion of this song is incredible

@@LockoRockoFTW nope

What the kids want
3:07 I want it for my funeral.
Wish they would do a whole cover of dancing in the dark
The Temper Trap do a great cover of dancing in the dark
Would be sick
His voice is amazing and this song has just become one of my new favourites.
Loved it ever since I seen them in the Olympia in Dublin, unreal tune

Bit a Bruce . I just love him too he is even more cuter than cute .
Love how Bondy has added his own touch to the solo
Hes called van
@@lewisjackson7158bondy is the lead guitarist
Saw them opening for The Kooks last night, they're really great live, got the crowd going. Awesome music! :)
Personally, I think these are better live than the kooks, yet the kooks have written better songs.
wojeeee Disagree i think the songs and lyrics from each and every song on the album are brilliantly written.
they are coming to st. Louis. are they opening for them here to?
Ashleigh Shepherd Kooks should be opening for them
I finally found an indie band I like more than the Kooks
The instrumentation in each of their songs is awesome. We love legends playing electric guitars
these guys are so good! I wish the entire band was playing on the killers' cover.
3:07,. that sudden shift from hard to soft and really relaxed...
That dude that passes by the door at 1:20 is like "Damn who are these Gods?"
his face is so damn smooth man
Catfish and The Bottlemen once again doing an amazing live performance.
Man what amazing live performers. Singer is great.

his hair is like young alex turner's i love it.
That's exactly why I clicked 🤣
He looks like young Julian Casablancas to me 😁
just had an eargasm

We went watching em in cambridge. The sound engineers gave us chairs. Lol. I was 55 n Sarah 54. The next oldest person was 19. A great young crowd.

Great version!! Real tiight band and the cheeky snippet of Bruce at the end was class
I'm having a legit eargasm listening to this LIKE IT SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE THE STUDIO VERSION OMFG THEY ARE SOOOOOO AMAZING gosh I'm so bummed I can't go to there concert this summer :(
Now this is what you call a live performance, amazing
They are so so good live
The musical chemistry is top here
Van has the talent to make every song sound better, like read my mind, dancing in the dark and ignition, they all sound amazing in his voice.
this performance was great, adding that little bit of Bruce at the end was brilliant......
This performance makes me so so happy for some reason

Amor propio, ánimo.
Heard this on the way to work this morning; love it! The singer seems like he could be Luke Pritchard's younger brother :)
That's a bit of an insult is it not? The Kooks were shite.
Hikma haha I know.
craig anderson My bruv I love The Kooks and that's who came to mind when I heard it ;)
Haha each to their own man. I actually don't mind their music all that much but I've always thought Luke Prichard was a massive bellend. I may be wrong. On the other hand, Van is a legend!
iminapunkband I always said I feel he has a Julian Casablancas from The Strokes vibe
perfeito. Eu amo essa banda, uma das melhores
IM SCREAMING THIS IS REALLY BRILLIANT
these guys make me think of Rich and Aloe from Skins. same hair stylist apparently. pretty good sound too though! gonna check them out for sure.
I thought I was the only one omg
van looks like rich
the beginning reminds me of the 1975 so hard! They're great!
Rockin in FIFA Soundtrack.
im in loveee omggggg
Their best song imho. I just love how Van changes little words like “darlin” and “honey”, he does/did the same thing live. So flat they’ve broken up
I have adored these guys since Leeds 2013
Any man who sings the boss is a friend of mine. Fantastic track, original and delicious. Album acquired
van's voice sounds just like it does live as it does on the album, unlike most of the 'popular' artists these days
you dudes just got a new fan, sooooo good
I just found this band but god they've got some great music
If you ever get to see these guys live do it !
Sooooo beautiful and Van looks 😭😭😭💕💕
Can I be that microphone

+Fariz Gumay lmaooo that was smoothh

Ben Rujo apparently lots of people would want to be the microphone, I would give all my life savings to be a microphone too
Hannah Leanne haha you do you Hannah
Love Bruce at the end! Went so well with the song!
Was that Dancing in the Dark by Bruce Springsteen at the end? OMG
