Thank you so much Julie! I keep trying to push it and give you all something a little better each week so I’m so glad to hear you are enjoying it. Really means alot! And was that you that donated to my Ko-Fi? If so, THANK YOU so much, really means so much to me and every bit helps to keep these videos coming your way. Appreciate it mate 🙋🏽♂️🇯🇵

MATE!! I’m loving you out exploring and how I get to learn along with you! This was great, the TOTO museum, what! Also the underwater walk way and bamboo light annual show are musts! Thanks man!
How rad was that cave also hey! First time going deep into a cave like that, I was so stoked haha Such a good day out running around Kitakyushu! Had an absolute blast man. Get over here so we can go on some adventures 🙋🏽♂️🇯🇵
Fun day out right! I reckon my favourite by far way the limestone cave - first timing doing something like that and now I want to do more haha Thanks so much Em 🙋🏽♂️🇯🇵
Stunning hey! I did my best to capture it but it's just one of those things that's wayyy better in person. So many lights everywhere and a massive castle in the background. Really great vibe! Thanks for tuning in as always Tommy 🙋🏽♂🇯🇵
Christian, perfect filming, editing, and narration, highlighting some absolute gems of Kitakyushu. I had no idea about the Kanmon Tunnel. Do you know if bicycles are allowed, or is it foot traffic only? It would be great to know more about access options for visitors. How wonderful is Mojico, too? It looks similar to the marina area of Hakodate, Hokkaido, with its beautiful waterfront and historic atmosphere. Great work again mate!
What great feedback! Thank you so much mate - that’s so awesome to share so kind words 👍🏽 Yeah Kitakyushu really surprised me, it had some much that I didn’t know about. I’d always been used to just the rural suburbs visiting family. And yeah you can take bikes through the tunnel, but it costs ¥20 (not sure why even charge at that rate ha!) but you have to walk the bike through also. Mojiko is cool also right, so many European styled buildings and rad cafes harbour side. Didn’t feel like Japan there, was rad something different! Appreciate tuning in as always legend 🙋🏽♂️🇯🇵
Hey Christian. Came here through your threads!!! Love the stuff you’re making! All the absolute best for the Japan Expo in Aus next month!!! You’re gonna crush it mate!
I really like that you can walk through a tunnel between the two islands. I did not know that existed. There’s an automobile tunnel by Detroit going to Windsor Canada. It’s the only international border that is underwater. Very cool travels today, mate! You’re going to make a great tour guide😎!
It’s so rad right! I didn’t know about it until I hot there and I was like, “this is actually super rad!” Haha I’d been to that area previously but never knew about the tunnel, so I had to share it! Oh is there really? That is so rad - so that means there is a full stop, check point, but all under ground and a mass of water??
@ the tunnel was built almost 100 years ago. The stop points are at each end of the tunnel. There will be a new bridge opening that will relieve some of the tunnel traffic. There is another older bridge. It is the busiest shipping bridge in the world. The old bridge is privately owned, the new bridge will be owned by the Canadian and US governments.
@ 100 years ago?? That’s wild, I didn’t even know that was possible back then. It’s reminding me of that movie ‘Daylight’ haha big flood in the tunnel haha New bridge sounds like good idea if its stacked with traffic!
@ the new bridge is going to expedite traffic. I can’t remember if it’s six lanes or not. I know that it’s going to have pedestrian and bicycle lanes. It’s a fantastic engineering marvel. It got connected over the summer. Now they are doing the finishing touches. Search Gordie Howe Bridge on RUclips, some interesting footage definitely.
@@hangswithchristianmy bad i mean doing that kind of video where you go camping in the wood! I don’t know if that’s your cup of tea lol or maybe it’s gonna be fun to go around saga when there’s saga balloon festival! I lived in Saga and wanna go back soon. Kinda missing that place ahah
Ohh true! Haha yeah I’ll be honest, I’ve never really been into camping myself but I’ve always like the ‘idea of it’ 🤣 so maybe we will see! I do want to visit that balloon festival, it looks soo awesome right. I didn’t know you can camp near it and watch it??

great stuff mate, I was there last year, kokura castle has the statues of musashi and kojiro depicting their epic duel in the kanmon strait, l loved learning the history there and plan to go back sometime.
