I read psalms 57 and the words that came out of my mouth later was My heart is steadfast o God. My spirit got stirred up. I thought of this song and as I listen, tears came from my eyes. God is so good!

My Dad was a super strict Christian parent and I got this album when I was 13 or 14 and I started playing it on his stereo even though he had a massive hatred for anything "rock n roll" (anything with rock instruments) due to something that must have happened in his past. Anyhow, I gave him this album when I left home.. to this day when I visit him, he still plays MercyMe :D They are ULTIMATE worship. One that you cannot come to understand until you understand that we all deserve to die. Salvation is a gift. Love in the form of mercy to the point of becoming his children rather than his enemies. Love that takes away our sins and in turn gives us his righteousness. Love that shows us that he is all we need.
