Exploring the Medina, visiting the famous Chouara Tannery and ceramic factory. From coppersmiths to carpet-makers selling their creations in tiny workshops. We are on a 14 day National Geographic G Adventures trip to Morocco.
It's like a vision from Arabian fairytale, but this is no fantasy - Fez is a living, working city, not one preserved largely for tourists, and it’s that makes it so amazing.

Good video. Fez is a wonderful city to visit but you need to do some research and know some of the ground rules. A guide or tour company, particularly for Americans who would like to visit, will pay for themselves in convenience, knowledge, and hospitality.
I know because I'm traveling there from Atlanta next March on my 5th visit. Moroccan hospitality is like southern hospitality. And it makes for a great adventure.
