Faridoon, you said one of my mst fav songs. Khamosh Raat. I am so sad that the song didn't get its due. But again, I am also happy that, for true music lovers, the song remains closest to their heart. Roopji's silky voice, the acoustic guitar parts, the harmony, the song will always remain special for me at least.

You said yourself ask someone in Punjab but ask some one globally it’s Diljit
Im punjabi and its safe to say that you my friend are wrong. Yes Sidhu, and Aujla are very popular. But Diljit has been on the top for many years and Karan even wrote a song named “GOAT” for him. Ask any newer punjabi artist and they’ll all say that Diljit is their idol. Atleast one of them. They’ll have major respect for everything he’s done for the Punjabi industry for the past few decades along with other big Punjabi names like Amrinder Gill and Gippy Grewal.
