@@TwoGuysOneVan I didn't know Eddy Grant until now but I like him ;-) I also think that we should definitely do this next year. I think we'll wait a bit for the development of the borders with all the Corona stuff and watch at the beginning of the year what we want to plan. But in any case, we have to meet once to have fun. Too right... Every ride starts with a anti-crack survey just to make sure... But she's a bruiser! Her official name is "The SR71-Sledgehammer"... So it will take more than random flying rocks to take her out of commission... :D
Hahaha for sure... It was a slog of a trail, but I find pleasure in all sorts of types of trails. They all have their own special kind of fun. We did this epic race up on the England/Scotland borders a few years back called "The Behemoth"... Like 40 miles of torture. At times there wasn't even a trail... We were just riding randomly through the heather or on flag stones that were sinking into a peat bog. Was such a great day out! And the only reward was a finishers coffee mug... I treasure that mug. Brings me much joy! :D

The hard tail definitely looks like the right tool for the job on that trail. I'll be honest though, probably not my cup of tea!
