The Skyinbow Pure Acoustic violin/viola active transducer system has been developed by Kenny Johnson to offer string players a new option for the amplification of their instruments. This unique system cleverly combines the noise free active electronics of the Skyinbow S1 with the latest in battery free technology whilst retaining the looks, functionality and, most importantly, the tone of your natural acoustic violin. It was really nice to hear Morrison's Jig!
I prefer the professional installation of option number 3. But my violin is plenty loud without the extra acoustical amplification. As it is, I wear an earplug in my left ear while playing -- it's that loud.
What is the name of this piezo microphone? And its price
M EINTERESA, EN PESOS MEXICANOS CUANTO SALE?
Lindseeeeyyy!!!! Yeaaahhh!!@
Oh you caught that, eh?
I notice that the pickup is located on the foot of the bridge that is closest to the bass bar. Why wouldn't it be located in the center of the bridge such that it is equal distance between the base bar foot and the sound post foot?
I have the Kremona vv3 which comes to be installed under the G string. I put it under E and sounds better
What happens when the charge runs out? Does it still send a passive signal that can be used with an external preamp?
Good question. Or the battery doesn’t hold a charge anymore. Then it will need to buy another one
How resistant to feedback is this pick up?
That is one of the main reasons to get a pickup vs. using a mic: it is extremely resistant to feedback. That being said, there are still some best practices to avoiding feedback even with pickups such as avoid standing super close to speakers or monitors whenever possible. But this pickup does a great job because it picks up the vibrations straight through the bridge.

OH, haha I also responded to you on that other pickup video. Small world
And if I end up not liking the pickup I’ll be left with a hole in my bridge? Mmmm
