Can I get a whole album please? My boyfriend and best friend and father of my child overdosed 7 months after I got clean. I'm still clean and raising our daughter. It's still debilitating 2 years later. Something about TBV makes me feel love in the places that were buried with him. You guys literally tell our entire story song after song. Thank you. God I swear TBV is on my daily gratitude list and has been since my recent discovery. (I literally make a list with at least 5 things everyday) I'm crying from an emotion long forgotten that has no adjective. Thanks for reminding me I didn't die when they buried Zack. I'm still here. I just lost 2 good friends and my neighbor to an overdose so I’m trying to be strong and not go back but I was the one who found my neighbor dead with a pipe still clenched in his hand. There was blood around his head and his face was crushed from falling on it. The odor is what made me concerned and I was right. It’s just really hard to fathom.

@@justinbeisinger655 I've been there, or at least somewhere similar. That's why these songs resonate so strongly. Time does help, and you will start to see and feel beauty again, and others will start to see you (no longer a ghost), if you can hang in there long enough to let time do that for you.

The meaning of these words in this video capture the loss of my husband and soulmate. Sometimes I think he's right there sometimes I think I'm going to wake up and it'll all be a bad dream and he'll be right there next to me. Just goes to show how brilliant this band is and how brilliant their music and lyrics are as well as how they touch people.

That's exactly what I thought when I first heard this band. I still do. It's very surreal.
I think it’s not really good to equalise this new (and what ever else) band to LP.. yeah, LP and Chester are legends! But life is keep going and I’m happy with some new born bands keep this kind of music alive in between a pop-kind or any artificial electronic stuff… would like to wish them good luck. Personally from this band - nice to hear vocal and bass

I am sorry, i have no words of comfort, or any advice that can make those long nights a bit shorter. All i can tell you is that if given enough time, you will feel better. It doesn't last forever. So keep moving forward no matter how hard each step is. She cheated on you, broke you, and left you alone in sadness, nothing can change that. However if you let it destroy you she wins. Don't let her win. The best revenge is living well and happily. Take some time to acknowledge the pain, let it in, let it leave it's mark, and then take a breath and let it go. It does get better.

As somebody who grew up in the 80s, my favorites were always bands like Def Leppard, Journey, Queensryche, Alice In Chains, and a few others.
It's no small thing to say that you guys have put out some of the absolute best music I've heard in the last 30 yrs. Keep making amazing music that makes us feel something...something that draws us in. Thank you.

Maybe I should share my own reasoning for why this song hits home to me: I lost my brother and my father to a murder-suicide in August of this year (2022). My brother killed my dad and then he took his own life. I had always hoped that they would recognize their short comings and improve as people -- but they never did. My dad was abusive because of his alcohol (which is a drug)(he also smoked and sold pot all his life and smoked cigarettes, but those are less of an issue compared to the booze), and my brother never knew what it was like to be loved by anyone at all. He thought I abandoned him, and died feeling alone after doing what he did. Prior to that I lost my cat to Cancer, and left an abusive relationship of 12 years - leaving behind almost everything, including a house we owned together and a nice car, just took myself, my belongings and my cats.
Start over is right. Starting over all again at 33 with the loss of a lot those that I loved is really hard. So yeah, this song hits home for me. Maybe some internet stranger will see this and have sympathy. It would be nice to not feel so alone all of the time with all of the crap I've witnessed and been through. I felt like elaborating after reading some other peoples comments. This song is good...I hope you guys release more.
