@@thatlogicproguy no the problem with the App Store is that it says it’s not available to me on my system, I have a 2013 Mac Pro running Monterey so I think I would need logic 10.7 But there’s no way to buy that version
Got it. Incompatibility issue. Do you have the previous version saved? If you email me, will do my best to find and send it over. Deets in description.
@@ConstantinoOfficialYou can use OCLP Open Core Legacy Patcher to run latest Sonoma 14.5 on your 2013 Mac, then run Logic 10.8.1 (the latest Intel-compatible Logic). I do this on two 2013 MacBook Pros, both Sonoma and Logic 10.8 run perfectly. (Although I probably haven't really pushed Logic. I have i7/16GB).
I believe you have Mastering Assistant but you don’t have the various models such as Transparent, Punch, etc. this izotope option has some great models built in and they sound 😀
@@thatlogicproguy Yeah I’m still using a really old MacBook that can’t even get the mastering assistant 😅 and I definitely have an intel processor anyway
Mastering Assistant is available beginning in Logic 10.8 (latest available version 10 is 10.8.1), which works on Intel CPUs running the minimum required MacOS . If you have older Mac you can use OCLP Open Core Legacy Patcher to run a newer/current MacOS, and thereby then run a newer/current version of (Intel-compatible) Logic. (Performance will depend on your older Mac's CPU, RAM, etc., but you'd be surprised how well older Macs can do...)
Is there anyway to buy logic Pro at this point if you’re on Monterey and an Intel Mac?
Yes you should be good in the App Store. Are you having trouble? Make sure you are signed in with your Apple ID

I guess I didn’t realize you needed the Silicone chip for the mastering assistant

Last I heard they were giving away a free copy of ozone elements and neutron elements. They will certainly outperform mastering assistant
@@thatlogicproguy Really? I might have to look into it
