Dear Bhai sahab bahot bahot dhanyawad, to expose such wonderful scientific evidence and construction built by our great intelligent ancients, thanks to Govt and People of town who have well preserved till today, looks the construction is kind of Lab constructed scientifically, geologically and well calculated weather observatory, must some kind of gauge designed to forecast weather design and constructed such as that "when moist air flows thru roof top gapes of temple absorbs moistures thru specially designed and constructed hollow or pores Breaks hall from air and filter it out in form of " DEW" like modern Dew points gets filtered the water dews start forming into water drops depending how much moisture is in out side atmosphere, accordingly our ancient scientist must be predicting amount of rain fall and then forecasting weather and type of monsoon and Rain fall of that season, the structure of all 12 pillars represents 12 months indicates weather round the year, each sculptures must be representation of how the weather will be in that month, like if Lord Indra Murthi in various forms will forecast Rain fall, may be Lord Agni will forecast type of summer, Maybe Chandra (MOON phases) will indicate harvest time , This is my imagination only but any expert archeological expert survey may reveal great hidden secret hidden within temple, feel sorry there is no proper lighting inside temple but one way it's good curious tourists or crowd can damage the valuable temple, but a guided tour with certified Guide provided with proper lighting can help earn revenue and Knowledge to our scientist, school, collage student professors and Weather experts- many thanks for sharing, keep good work doing, if you happen to be visiting USA pl be my guest namaskar
