Hunting beaver on our pond. (Beaver Hunt 4k)

In early spring, beavers tried to start a colony on our pond. They blocked the outflow of the pond in hopes to make the entire area wetlands. The water level was several feet high and overflowing in parts with dozens of trees chopped down and many more half chewed. It's amazing the amount of work (damage) a beaver can do. They are amazing rodents which I admire, but in this case needed to be dealt with.
I did save the pelt and the meat. I made a beaver pot roast and to my surprise, it was really good. The meat is not gamey and resembles beef. I did not get a chance to weigh this beaver but If I had to guess, he would be around 40 pounds.
