If you like the gameplay and enjoyed this video maybe give it a try but I talked about some problems below I love this game and it is pretty good but for new buyers beware. It just got the forced 1.0 release and is still a buggy mess. The problem: The devs ignore all the community concerns and made a "boring" and unstable 1.0 update, with mod support, which is never a good sign because those are all signals that they will abandon this game. If you don't care about this, you can still and hopefully have a good time with shadow of doubt

It’s so sad they rushed this game out the door into 1.0 after getting a publisher. It has such promise that will likely never be realized now, and it’ll forever remain in a weird limbo of it being “finished” but never quite feeling like it.
It's a great game, love it. Laughed out loud when nobody realized they were in the wrong office, even when the victim isn't in the employee database, or the employee photos or the employee files...
To this day Tawny Corporation employees believe Laurel’s ghost possessed a hobo detective who set off the alarms, turned on all the computers, and left the fridge open in the dead of night.
I've seen CallMeKevin play this game, and I think RTGames played it as well. It always looked interesting to me, just not my favorite genre. Stay safe during hurricane season!
I'm very curious on this matter, would you ever play monster rancher 2? They have the DX version on PC and everything else I loved the series a lot I never really got the chance to play the first one but then when I did I was already binge playing the fourth one so basically the story for me and how I got the games was the second one the fourth one the third one than the first one then the DX versions which if you buy one you get both just wish the remastered 3 and 4😢 four was my all-time favorite

No it hasn't been fixed LOL. They've also announced the game as "all major features finished" LOL. Not currently worth the purchase. Hopefully modders come fix it up.

It’s one of the most ambitious games I’ve ever seen and it’s made by a tiny group of people. It’s not really that buggy anymore at least on pc, the bugs I run into are typically either minor or funny. It’s one of the most replayable indie games I’ve played, would give it an 8.5 right now and if they fix some of the performance and bug issues over time, 9.5.
Imagine not even owing the game and trying to criticize it. You don’t even know what you are speaking on. I own it and played 1.0 for a couple hours today and solved a murder case. Ran into a few clipping bugs, AI seems to be running everywhere, and normal procedural generation issues. ( stuff floating on stairs ect.) That’s it. Nothing game breaking or nothing that took me out of the experience. There was the normal stutter but with all the simulation it’s doing I definitely understand why and it doesn’t bother me. So please at least buy the game and play it yourself.
