I live by the Extra Credits creed "Fail quickly". It's about learning from your mistakes as quickly as possible and not getting trapped by them, being flexible enough to adapt to changing circumstances and resilient enough to bounce back from being wrong, because it's okay to be wrong. It's okay to fail, everybody fails at some point, it's all about learning from our failures and coming back better than ever.
The temples and priests are exceptionally pricy. Plus all the other gods getting jealous, leading to wacky hyjinks and an increase in divorce (gods like to bang a lot- looking at you, Zeus).

well, we're all heading towards the same destination as we get older.... maybe AA's cities have a different cultural attitude towards death and the reminder doesn't really bother them. It'd also explain why people keep coming back after the last residents got mass-killed in poorly managed natural disasters! Death ain't shit to 'em
Honestly, I do kind of love the complete difference in these challenges compared to the others. Zomboid? "I did this, this and this, and I was a manly man for it." Kenshi? "I have a cunning plan!" Sims? "Though it was a struggle, I managed to make my Sim the richest man alive with a mighty mansion!" But Cities: Skylines? "I made a city... It may have caused the French Revolution. But the second city did better and only maybe kind of possibly caused the Irish Potato famine, so overall a win!" It's just overwhelmingly less confident than other game challenges.
Oh my GOD. I’ve already fallen asleep to your recent Sims Compliation, and now I have a brand new FRESH compilation to accompany me into slumber for many nights. Thank you AA ✨
You return a kind of childlike wonder and curiosity to the mushy, smelly, cynical pile of brains in my head that had been missing for a very, very long time. Thank you so much.
I don't know why I keep coming back to laughing at "Customer Service Services". Aliens made this city and they're absolutely convinced they have us fooled.
I live in a non-grid town now, its a maze of stupid cut off roads and nothing connects to what it should, without a gps maps app you can spend hours driving around lost/stuck. oh and its loaded with round-abouts which only work if the morning mental stunted can manage to work them, most of which can't. my previous town was a grid, regardless of traffic, you could zip thru the town without issue as long as you knew the general direction, it was great and I miss it.
hey my man. i finally got my plushy. guess it took so long because it came from canadia aye? i love it and havent stopped watching your videos. keep on rocking on my guy. hearts from all the way from florida my guy
There is one triangle city pattern you can make, which ressembles a star with a square in the middle all outta triangles, and if you want you can even extend the design right. maximum intersection is 6 roads. 4 triangles to make the box in the center, 4 triangles to make the outerside of the star.
I love how most of the issues that crop up in these playthroughs stem from not addressing the traffic by just dumping highway traffic into two lane roads
i feel like ambig got my save file and recorded all my game time and reposted it as his own, I did exactly what you did in the video when i first played CS.
The 0% Tax City one his hilarious, because it's just taxes by a different name. And *toll roads* are something famously hated by anti-capitalists *and* Libertarians. And almost everyone else, really. But more than that: If the population had simulated incomes and expenses, they'd never be able to afford to go to work.
The amount of DLC is overwhelming, but the vanilla game is exceptionally fun. Definitely recommend getting the First person camera Mod on steam at least, just to walk your city streets and take in the utter chaos that ensues.
"You pay 0% taxes?... whats the catch 🤔" "No catch! You should definitely move here, super walkable, and I go to 4 amusement parks a day too! Every single day! And a zoo!" "Oh wow! that sounds... like a lot. How do have time for your job?" "Thats how I get to my job!" "huh... so what kind of animals are in the zoo? also.... what the hell happened over there?" "where?" "where that giant crater is"
25:06 I lived in a small city that was in a highway with tollbooths on both ends, because there were big cities on both ends and huge traffic between them, so you pretty much had to pay to get to and leave the city. No wonder the city was losing its inhabitants, the young were leaving the city and only the elders remained, and died with time. It had 17k people in 2010, but then some industries got there and it started growing again, it had 23k people in 2022
CS is a cool game, even if it now looks... a bit old and expensive because of all that DLC. Paradox for you. I was seeing some of your SC4 games and, well, Maxis got it right then.
I love the fact Nipplopolis was so good you HAD to smite them. How dare you all live perfect 1x1 educated lives. Note to self if Amphibian god offers you to live in his city one thing is not "ambiguous" and that is your demise
Thanks you AA. These are the best. Also you should play more kenshi and rimworld and city skylines…..basically just keep doing you. I will keep attending AA

I'm glad City Skylines always answers the question we all want to know in every video that's made for it...... WHERE DOES THE POOP GO?
To a farm up state to live out the rest of its life.
IRL it gets filtered and the water rereleased back into the enviornment and the solids given ti farmers for fertalizer

Cities Skylines: A fluid dynamics simulator that you can also build a city in.
