Most churches are more interested in entertaing people than preaching the Word of God. That's why it's important to find a godly church that will feed you spiritually!

I searched recently for a church in my area that is not Seeker Friendly/ Night Club/ Rock Concert / Star Bucks . I went to their websites and they are like cookie cutter copies of each other. Black platform, lights, big screens and pretty young men and women. Some list a variety of entertainment options when you visit, along with convenient service times. UnUnfortunately I suppose for me, I'm 71 years old. I remember when we were around the altar literally for hours on our knees. People couldn't get up because they had lost feeling in their legs. It would be after midnight sometimes on a Sunday night and many had to go to work in the morning but we didn't care. We didn't want to leave the presence of the Holy Spirit!

Jesus is the TRUTH. Remember the acronym P.R.A.Y. when you need structure to your prayer. P - (Praise) and give thanks to the Lord for our blessings R - (Repent) of our flawed nature causing us to sin, known and unknown sins. A - (Ask) for development of character or help/healing for another person. Y - Yield to Jesus! Just be real with the savior and spend time with Him. Allow Him to have lordship over your life and you will see many things change for the best! Flee from sin wholeheartedly and draw close to God, HE WILL DRAW CLOSE TO YOU. Amen!
I used to attend a church, that was so worldly I had to leave. They had rock concerts every weekend. They had a bake sale so they could build a arcade. They built a cafe in the church. And then they had selling tables set up in the hallway when church was over selling baked goods and personal items. When Halloween came around they had buckets sitting around for donations for candy. So they could do trunk or treat. I couldn't take no more I left.
Besides all that activity, did they preach God's Word at all?

That was the wrong church. I feel like there are many churches in the south that struggle to keep the doors open. I am praying for you to find a new church.
I have gone to so many churches since I was a young girl. My parents took me to Pentecostal churches, and those like it. As an adult I went to Baptist churches, non-denominational churches, and then I started going to Messianic Jewish synagogues and I am now planning on leaving that synagogue. I feel pretty much all churches and synagogues are corrupt. I am just going to stay at home and read my Messianic Jewish bible and pray. I am going to look for like minded believers like myself that truly are seeking to live godly lives. I know it will be hard. But I know it's important to be with strong Christian believers. I rather have a small group of believers gathering together in each others homes then go to a church or a synagogue.
Ask GOD for discernment, he will gladly give.❤❤

Since covid hit, so many churches faith had changed, it became hard to find a Bible believing church, so I turned to the net, and there I found only a few sites that I follow, it's sad that this is how you have to go to church now, but all in all keep strong and be ready, our Lord is coming for us.

A big reason why ppl are not able to live the CHRISTIAN life is a lack of the HOLY SPIRIT in our lives. I was Baptized as a young child, but I knew very little about the HOLY SPIRIT. I & many CHRISTIANS have lived defeated lives because we knew nothing about the HOLY SPIRIT. I was in my 40s before I realized the importance of the HOLY SPIRIT. Most churches don't speak of the importance of the HOLY SPIRIT. He's the one who gives us the victories in our CHRISTIAN life. We should stop going to dead churches & find HOLY SPIRIT filled churches. We also need to ask The HOLY SPIRIT to come into our hearts & minds. We need to allow The HOLY SPIRIT to take over our lives & guide us!!!

💙🌺💙🌺💙🌺 Please continue to pray for my friend Judy. She had hip replacement surgery and now has contracted MRSA She is feeling depressed, in a lot of pain and the wound is oozing.
My mother in law is in the same boat except worse off. Please have Judy to do her physical therapy when she can start doing it. That is a must. My mother in law refuses to get up and walk due to pain and I feel that only prayer has kept her alive.

The CHURCH is Christ's disciples out in the world sharing the gospel to a lost and dying world. These Saints are the ambassadors for the Father and who have been selected by Him to represent Him. When these disciples meet they are REQUIRED to share (Book of Acts) who they had witness to and how many changed course to live the rest of their lives apart from sin and accept Christ as their "ONLY HOPE of SALVATION" and provide them an escape from Hell and then the "Lake of Fire" forever. This CHURCH is Christ CHURCH that Christ will be calling home at the Rapture - His spotless Bride to be. Not these self-proclaiming unrighteous hypocrites that tell the world they are a Christian and a follower of Christ. Ones that have NEVER witnessed to even one lost soul and don't even read or study the Holy Scriptures. Ones that have NEVER been "Born Again" and found "Worthy" by the Father and never had the "Holy Spirit" to indwell inside them.
So many churches don't even pray anymore. They may say a few words of "prayer" that the pastor says before he preaches, but there is not time when the congregation prays together or for each other. Also, most churches don't even worship either...the people stand there and look around while a band plays. It's so discouraging...😔

I left a church after 18 years. I never heard one sermon on salvation, repentance, sin, etc. Most churches in the city i live in are seeker friendly to the world.

My opinion Find a church with a pastor who reads from the Bible scriptures and teaches them to you during his sermon. Example: If a pastors sermon that day is on the story of Samson and Delilah, a good pastor in my opinion will tell you we're to go in your Bible, read the scriptures and explain to you the message in that scripture in a way that you understand it. Gods Final Warning to Mankind
This is now playing out in this generation. People are so far from the “TRUTH” that they are blind to all that is happening around them and the world. Matthew 16: 16 Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. 2 He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; 3 and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. Christ was referring to the “Spiritual Signs” for He was the one the Holy Scriptures had prophesied about coming and He was standing right in front of them, and they didn’t know he was the Christ “The Anointed One” or Immanuel “God is with Us”.
This same thing is happening in this generation and the fake and phony self-proclaiming religious only Christians can’t see God’s FINAL WARNING is being played out in this generation. The first four seals of Revelation 6 are open and intensifying and they are so “Spiritually Blind” they can’t see what is happening and are not “Warning Anyone” of Gods coming WRATH. Know this, Revelation 6 First Seal opened early in 2020, Second Seal opened in late 2021, Third Seal opened in late 2022, and Fourth Seal opened in late 2023. God is showing us a pattern of events. So, the 5th Seal will be opened in late 2024 at the next “Feast of Trumpets” and it begins on sundown on Wednesday, October 2nd, and the ending of the 2-day celebration will occur at nightfall on Friday October 4th, 2024. Noone knows the day or the hour and that was written in the Holy Scriptures. This is the “Appointed Year” just like the first 4 “Feast Days” were in 33 AD. Many have already lost their wedding garment for serving all the world (Lucifer) has to offer them and will suffer the same fate as Lot’s wife (she loved the world and looked back on what she was leaving behind) and those outside the ark when the flood waters came. This is because they love this world more than God or will need a sign (Rapture) before they believe and will go into the Great Tribulation. Do I feel sorry for them - NO - I only pity them for they did not know or care to know the meaning of the Holy Scriptures just like the Pharisees and Sadducees. All they could do is just read them.
