It was only when I got serious about my faith 12 years ago that satan set his minions on me. Before that, when I was half-hearted about my faith he left me alone! Jesus said to his followers: "In this world you WILL suffer persecution". Only the true believers know that to be the case. Having said that, it's not a reason for not following closely to God, because when the persecution comes - and it surely will if it hasn't already - then God helps us through the persecution and keeps us strong.

I went through the "not waiting" for someone who was equally yoked and though my children are blessings from the Lord, I pay for not waiting for someone who is equally yoked. I ended up waiting and we finally found each other. But there are still difficulties throw my way from my unequally yoked relationship. If a young person is reading this... please wait. Trust the Lord. If you are waiting for someone God knows is good for you and you grow impatient, remain steadfast. He will bring your person to you. Please please be patient and keep praying.

@@ColinWrubleski-eq5sh Paul Washer’s theology is rooted in Calvinism. They use the acrostic TULIP: total depravity, unconditional election, limited atonement, irresistible grace, and the perseverance of the saints.
Look this up. You can put TULIP on Wikipedia and see what each letter means. It’s a very dangerous theology. I am a born again Christian. They believe some twisted things. Some people only believe some of their doctrine and some are hyper-Calvinists. I’ve done quite a bit of study on Calvinism. Stay away from Calvinism!

This is so good, i had been in this portion of the Word today before church.,about the Seven Sons of Sceva and the demons knowing Jesus, and even knowing who Paul is, but no respect nor recognition even given to the seven -would- be -exorcists, that tells us these men had No Born Again connection to the Lord, being Jewish but not disciples thru rebirth and we not taught by the Lord,

Reality is that not everyone can cast out demons. We all have spiritual gifts and are given by The Holy Spirit...so it's not about how deep your relationship with the LORD is...yes we all need a deep and strong relationship with Jesus but the exercise of the spiritual gifts are another subject
