I went to my first ever estate sale recently and scored some comics. Let me know how I did.

It really is amazing what you can find at estate sales if you take the time and really dig into stuff.
Yes. I’m just lucky to find one with comics near me.
X-Men 30 for $36?! I doubt even the MCU could drive the price that high.
Robocop vs Terminator, Ghost Rider, the Bram Stoker’s Dracula, awesome finds. This was a success IMO.

Estate Sales are something my wife and I do. Have found some comics but nothing like the Matt Woods accidental garage sale find.
Closest I ever got to Matt’s find was finding the 1st appearance of Scott Lange in my dad’s garage. It used to belong to one of my step uncles and they gave it to my dad to give to me 30 years ago - he just found it last year.
I love all the Ghost Rider! I was a big fan of the Danny Ketch Ghost Rider. ✌
I did read Jason Aaron’s run and enjoyed it. Percy is really doing well on it right now too from what I’ve seen

Yea it was def a spur of the last min thing. I’m selective with estate sales or garage sales. I ask in advance if there are comics.

I will never forget my grandparents dragging us out of the movie theater during Airplane! because of the boob scene. I was probably 7 years old. 😆
😂😂😂😂 yea I had a few uncomfortable movie experiences with my dad. White Men Can’t Jump comes to mind.
Hydra was in Agents of SHIELD and Punisher had his own series. We will see Madame Hydra sooner or later. That issue will be sought after in the future. My spec. RoboCop and Terminator is a keeper.
I don’t think it’s her first appearance or anything, just an appearance

Great books buddy . That x man book is over priced lol but the toxic avenger for only $2 is great !
Ty yea I didn’t mention it but they were trying tk sell a Sherlock Holmes kojack for $200. They also sold a bunch of spidey reprints that was in the paper about 20 years ago for $60 - felt bad for the guy who bought them.

I don’t go deep with man thing at all but they basically made him Groot 2.0. I enjoyed the show, my wife hated it.
Not familiar with those books except for the GS ManThing. I never went to an Estate Sale, but went to plenty of auctions in the 70s as my mother loved to go on weekends. Of course I was looking for comics, but would you believe their were none in any of the 100+ of those auctions? Granted I just may have missed them. The only comic booj find was a stack of mostly DC at a flea market in Chester NJ which included a Batman #50.
I used to get a good amount of comics at the meadowlands flea market back in the day. I miss flea markets
Awesome haul. Some nice number ones. I tried an estate sale once. It was the first day and had a long line. They were only letting 2 people in at a time. After waiting for over 45 minutes to get in, I left. 👎
Yea they were letting everyone into this. Kinda wished they limited people too to be honest. Took me another 20 min to check out
