I feel like she was overly underscored on bars which cost her the gold. Her beam was perfection too, and I think should have gotten into the lower 14s. the judges wanted Jessica to win so they low balled her knowing Jessica would deliver a strong floor team with an inflated score. This whole scoring for this year was bad to me, but I am proud that Zsofia is still doing so well regardless of the way she is scored.

Why the switch leap at 2:40? It’s only C

There were a couple of places that cost her. She clipped her feet on the bar in unevens and I don’t think she was credited with the full double spin because she put her foot behind rather than in front on beam. She also had the error on the split jump on floor right off the bat and was quite short on the last tumble. Those added up to just enough in the end.

I have one confusion with the D score on her floor routine with her leap series...the switch leap (B) + switch leap 1/1 (D) looks to me more like a switch leap (B) + split leap 1/1 (C)....or am I blind?
