She trashed Joel pubically when he was tyring to see their daughter Alexa, after he had a motor accident (some said he had a drinking problem at that time...); there was no need to say he was unfit to see their daughter pubically. It was awful. And in any case Joel would NEVER have put his daughter at risk, so for her to such a public biatch to him was unconscienable. Not great freinds until recently, when the Cook debackle happened, and she turned to Joel for comfort. Of course he was kind to her bc he is awesome. She lies in all recent interviews about thier relationship over the years. Its why you cant find all the biographies and intimate portraits where it would be evident.
