Sorry to hear that my friend. Please try the following. These are the instructions I found online. If this was helpful please subscribe to my channel
There isn't a single "reset" button for Microsoft Word on Mac, but you can reset its settings to default by deleting a specific file. Here's how:
      1. Close Word: Make sure all Microsoft Word windows are closed.
      2. Open Finder: Click the Finder icon on your dock.
      3. Access Library folder:
Click the "Go" menu in the menu bar.
Hold the "Option" key on your keyboard.
Select "Library" from the dropdown menu.
      4. Navigate to the file:
      Go to the "Preferences" folder.
      Find the file named "com.microsoft.Word.plist".
      5. Delete the file: Drag the "com.microsoft.Word.plist" file to the Trash.
      6. Restart Word: Open Microsoft Word again. Word will create a new settings file with the default settings.
Important note: This process will reset all Word settings to default, including custom toolbars, keyboard shortcuts, and formatting preferences. Make sure you back up any customizations you want to keep before proceeding.

@@chiranjibi33 No it won't delete your existing word files. it just deletes the Microsoft Word configuration file and creates a new one
