Kudos for braving that cold on a bike! When I ride in cold temps, I like to wear clear glasses to reduce tearing up (safety goggles or fancier). Regardless of what kind of glasses you wear, there's still a balance between riding fast enough to get to where you're heading quicker, but slow enough you don't make the wind-chill too bad. Godspeed!
2 years ago I built a new bike and the day after my final part came in, it was also 4° I still went out but when I played the bike down gently on some ice the carbon Fibre water bottle cage cracked😢 still had a great ride though.❤
I was riding in New England yesterday and between the wind and temps I actually got so cold, even with a gaiter covering my neck and face, that I started getting nauseous by the end of the ride. Read that is one possible early symptom when hypothermia is starting to kick in.
To Build a Fire haunts me to this day. I also remember a fairly long discourse on the importance of dry socks, which may be in the story or I attribute it as something Jack London probably wrote. I hope I didn’t make that up because I feel superior that Chat GPT hallucinates things and I’d hate to admit I do the same thing.
I love Ft Collins!
In Tandem is so much fun. Never stop!
This was freakin awesome.

So sad I missed the fort collins show 😢. Also BarMitts are the winter game changers, impossible to have cold hands
Brave, silly, stupid, funny, surprisingly sad for a moment, scary with trucks--OMG. All that in 6 minutes!! Shocking and wonderful. So good.
Salsa bucksaw? Nice bike!
Good job Chloe!
Suffering is always funny 😆

Chloe, you’re a Badass! That is all 🤘🏻
Come to Boston! I'm a fellow cyclist and love puttering around in the cold. Would love to see your show.
Can't make it to your show but I will certainly like & comment out of pity!
She was here last week unfortunately
Winter rides are not for the faint of heart.

Wicked, only danger of sub 32f riding is fixing flats with frozen digits. 🥶
Birthmark glue could be a thing!😊
I remember reading that story as a kid. I still think about it sometimes.
BTw, are you doing any shows in Europe?
Come up to Laramie, WY I go riding with you. It's 4°F this morning 8AM 26 Jan. I'm homeless living in a 30 yr old RV with my 3 cats.
Why are you here so ahead of schedule?
Full sus fat bike? Oh hell yes.
Sorry I'm states away be everyone in Colorado should show up just to see how your doing after that ride. Your face is going to be so mad at you.
