Hi hair stylist here! Curl her hair in the same direction if she wants a glam wave look and then pin it, spray it. That should help it stay. Kevin Murphy strong hold hairspray is amazing! It’s in a gold can. You also need a working spray I recommend the redken brushable hairspray. Also prep is important. Give her an amazing blowout the night before, pin it up and. Use thickening products like Kenras thickening glaze and a little volumizing mousse. The wedding day hair should be slightly dirty so the curls and style will hold! Moroccan oil dry shampoo is life changing and will be soft and help a lot also will absorb any oils from the day before. You got this!

I'm a hair and makeup artist and work with really good hairstylists! I'm only doing makeup now though! In Indian bridal hair to make it stay we have to prep the hair well of course! But we don't necessarily have to have even a little dirty hair! The day before the wedding or wedding function shampooed hair is great!

Fine hair girly here! Don’t wash your hair the day before the wedding. The curls will fall out. You could use texture spray. I like Verb. You could also use a straightener to curl. It helps hold the curl… in my experience.

Mine won't hold curl with a curing iron but it will for days with a straightener! TRUST ME!! Kenra is great to tease with too. Pick up a section spray at the root then back comb for volume for days!! Hey Remi, as a fellow girlie with fine blonde hair I’ve found the only texture spray that gives my hair thickness and hold is the drybar triple sec. Way better than the oribe. It’s the only thing that can keep my curls even if humid hot weather. Plus it smells amazing!!

Kenra 25 Volume Spray Super Hold FInishing Spray. I have little super thin hair and after I wave/curl it, I use this and my hair holds all day and still looks great the day after!

Goldwell perfect hold 4 or 5! I have fine hair (but a lot of it), and both have worked great. Or the Kenra spray the girl at the salon uses that for me curls and it lasts for days.
I have really fine hair and I use the Kenra finishing spray and then I don’t touch it to relax it for at least ten minutes!

Remi, my hair doesn’t like hairspray either. Highly recommend a texture spray/foam before styling then setting with the Sebastian Shaper plus extra hold hairspray. It’s the only way it works for me
Try a big barrel wand to curl it might help hold the curl and make it voluminous ❤

I have fine hair and my biggest hack that works for me is dirty hair usually three day hair that I’ve used dry shampoo over a couple days. And pinning up my curls usually works really well and any hair spray works all of a sudden. Idk if that helps but I’ve struggled styling my fine hair and it was years of trail and error!

Hi Remi :) I have thin and fine hair! Here are some things I do when curling my hair for events, going from freshly washed hair to heat styling.
I use a fine volumizing/styling mist spray on wet hair before blow drying (eg. Olaplex volumizing blow dry spray). When dry, I work in some dry shampoo to the roots.
When I want my curls to last, I spray my hair with a thin layer of hair spray on dry hair before curling (a strong 4-5/5 hold hair spray is best, -e.g. Schwarzkopf) and brush it through gently. You don’t want to use too much, just enough that the hair can still be brushed as normal, but so you can feel that the hair has some grit from the product. It shouldn’t be “hair spray wet” at all, and section the hair so it all gets coated. Adding the hair spray before heat helps to lock in the curl but can be damaging if done frequently.
I use a small/medium tapered barrel curling wand (from MUK) and curl in smaller pieces, so they are quite tight. This will look crazy, but I brush it out gently, just before I get it to how I want, to allow for the curls to drop. Finish the hair off with a little more hair spray and a thin misting of dry shampoo everywhere.
“It’s a really chill Sunday” and has two workouts, has to pick up bagels while hosting friend, then has a work meeting then a birthday dinner meanwhile I have one thing to do a day and get overwhelmed and have to nap LOL
