This is a brilliant sketch… from two of the funniest comedians who ever lived… I don’t remember seeing this but it had me in tears after all this this time..😂😂
as a kid i used to look forward to xmas repeats of these greats (being 21 im too young to have seen them first time sadly but ive been a fan ever since i was little n at the time wished i was born years before!)
I love the fact there is no glass there in the teller's window and the end of the counter is open and anyone could just walk around the other side. Brilliant sketch :)
I think the open end is mostly to allow the scene to be photographed in one frame. Same reason why the woman who's next in the queue is standing so close. In reality -- and in widescreen! -- she'd be standing farther back.
They are still the best what i am shocked at that the comedy channel has not brought their series and Christmas special to show a new generation of people what real comedy is
@@Keithbarber With all due respect the two Rons were multi talented. They could act, sing, play instruments, undertake long, fast talking, rhyming sketches. Ron C had the famous chair with joke telling. Ron B was the best at mispronunciation and very fast talking. All round the two Rons were a better talented team.
Reminds me of the story of the genuine bank robber who wrote 'I have a gun. Give me £10000' on the back of an envelope and gave it to the cashier. On the other side of the envelope was his name and address...
It has nothing to do with swearing. If it's clean but the acting and writing are terrible, then what's the point. If it's dirty, the same thing can be said. Their act there was well acted and well written, that's why it worked, nothing to do with clean or foul language.
Simply superb! "Go home you silly billy!" Just fantastic.
Two of the best comedians ever!!!! Loved them to bits.❤❤❤❤❤😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣💯👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
One of the many great comedy sketches from these two comedy legends.
Miss them dearly and their homely comedy.

Where did those days go?
There ➡️
Along side Lauel and Hardy, Morecombe and Wise are the greatest
Let's face it, they had a brilliant writer or two!
Laughing out loud, a comedy classic, the quality of which we rarely see today
I am 61 years old and remember all these back in England before I came to Australia in 1989 love all UK comedy
Im not surprised that a sheila moved down under
U went to Australia when it was good.....hope you haven't regretted that!
@@mikewatte4478 And married an ocker called Bruce.
Classic. They don't make 'em like dat anymore, do dey?
they always seemed to be having a great time doing these sketches
They did and the guests used to love going on the show.
They set a benchmark for comedy gold that I don't think has ever been bettered. Brilliant
Hilarious ! Who ever heard of a polite bank robber ? This is brilliant comedy from Britain’s greatest comedy duo ! Still funny after all this time!
And he raised his hat to the departing customer - now that is class!
Just love these clips! Takes me right back to the 70s. Brilliant memories 🙂
as a kid i used to look forward to xmas repeats of these greats (being 21 im too young to have seen them first time sadly but ive been a fan ever since i was little n at the time wished i was born years before!)
But you can still watch them here on you tube

It’s just old fashioned comedy.
Priceless and timeless comedy then and now.
Only a small sketch but hilarious, thanks for uploading in such sad times 🎉
They are still the best what i am shocked at that the comedy channel has not brought their series and Christmas special to show a new generation of people what real comedy is
They won't as it might upset the snowflake lefties. They're delicate you know.
@@dpace2310 actually the original snowflakes were right wing conservatives. Funny that…
@@dpace2310 really ???
Everyday im missing the two Ronnie's simply. the best 👌
Brilliant. One of the best comedy duos ever
Such a classic. Love their chemistry
More like a documentary then a comedy . Bankers ARE truly robbing the public ! 🤣
Hilarious! Absolutely brilliant!
Morecambe turning round (at about 0:57-1:00) is just hilarious. They work so well together!! Cheers for uploading! :)
The little old lady did a marvellous job too!
"You'd probably miss four eyes"
Shots fired. Pun intended.
Four eyes...not heard that in years
this is a pure example that comedy can be funny without swearing
Fuck yeah
or humour.
There's always one 😌
You know, for basically the whole of history, there have been comedians who swore and comedians who didn't.
But they used the term... silly billy !! Scandalous!!!! The entire episode was banned in Vatican City
Morecombe and wise, the 2 ronnies and laurel and hardy r the greatest comedians who ever graced our screens
Brilliant comedy actors with great timing.
Possibly the politest bank robbery ever...haha
Absolutely
The hand trough the screen killed me
It killed you ?
He owed the grocer 12 quid and the robber gave him the cash to pay him off classic comedy!😂😂😂
I hadn't seen this clip before, thanks for posting hayleigh13.
Perfect sketch after a days work..
Delightfully silly!
Priceless We Will Never see the likes of These Again ; )
graham chapman
They were not as talented as the two Ronnies.
thank god for that crap
@@THEQUIETMAN11 I dispute that, they BOTH had classic sketches that had people creasing up in hysterics

We will never get a comedy act like them again shame i was born to late got them on dvd though
absolute genius
"I'll only shoot you a little bit in the arm." HILARIOUS!
Eric and Ernie have never been bettered.
Brill, absolutly no nastiness.
They were too funny to rely on swearing or nastiness for laughs. A masterclass in comedy.

Glorious sketch, he, he!

Two most funny people
This is comedy
Real comedy in those days . Not like the ´woke´ nonsense of today.
great stuff, something the whole family can watch, not like the modern crap of today !
Morecambe and Wise would likely carry off that sketch better than anyone else, even the two Ronnies.
In 2022 this is just like ppl texting
11 people owe the grocer for food.
79 Dislikes. What’s the matter with people ??
They got called "Four Eyes" while trying to rob a bank
No sense of humour......
What do you think of the show so far?
I've heard of the Intellectuals (a group of sophisticated wannabe bank robbers) but these two top them easily! ^_^
Morecambe and Wise invent social media.
"thus, swearing is not necessary in comedy".
Annihilate fuckin swearin in the coddamn comedie.
mondongos how do you know they swear in modern comedy oh yes that's right you watch it
Laughing aint either with this level of comedy
@@NamasteBlues : Cant !
Swearing is certainly not
What d'you make of it so far?
"Rubbish!"
Are you two the new double act
Eric's got to be the most incompetent bank robber in the history of crime.
At least he was polite enough to raise his hat to the lady in front as she left!
@@RogbodgeVideo Who was it who said, "Feminists I take my hat off to them."
No, the most incompent bank robbers are Monty Python. They hold up a bank to make a deposit. 😂
There's the instance of an inept robber who fled, but left his dog at the scene. The police released the dog & followed it home......🙄
There is nothing like this today
TV has really declined since I was a kid
How d'ya spell "an-nye-ee-late"?
I have no idea 🤷♂️

Epic
❤😂🎉loooool.
They never swore even on stage
Nothing beats ‘Woody Allen’s’ skit in ‘take the money and run’
I think each team is funny in its own way.
If they did, they wouldn't be half as funny as this :D
That sketch annihilated me!
They got a part in a Sweeney Todd episode (UK cop show) as a favour for getting the Sweeney actors on their show.
That’s quite an expensive gun ,💷 6000 pounds?
😂
Only in Henley!

The check should have got rid of the robber by telling him it was a lingerie shop.

Most banks have a policy where they give you what you asked for and let you escape
Why don't we get comedy like this today? Oh yes, woke. Say no more. 😂

I think you're missing the point that this is 'light' entertainment.
Ah yes Brian O'Sullivan, but the cleaner the joke is, the cleverer it has to be.

People in the line are pretty stoical.
