Henderson Lake Paddle

#hendersonlake #hendersonlakepaddle #adirondackpaddling I was hopeful, but wrong about the lower gate on Gulf Brook Road being open so I could have a short hike into Boreas Ponds. The 14 miles of hiking convinced me to paddle Henderson Lake instead. I had the whole lake to myself until noon! Life is GOOD...

Good video. You inspired me to head into Henderson Lake in the near future. I don't think I'd take my Hornbeck NT13 (probably would bring my OT Pack Canoe) up the brook as far as you though. Made me nervous just watching you do that!

@@twotonadk Yeah I was cringing just to waiting hear the boat hit the bottom. I'm all for using my equipment hard but the Hornbeck is one piece of equipment I admit to babying. My royalex OT Pack would be the boat I pick to head up Indian Brook.
