I understand that the mom doesn’t want her kids to he scared of living but we need to know ALL of history. Even the parts we don’t like. If we learn about it, hopefully, we won’t repeat it.

Generations of races learning about what their ancestors did or had done to them and developing their ego based on stories from the past instead of living in our truth. They teach about the holicaust, Greek and Roman mythology etc. All history needs to be taught. There is good and evil in all people.
