Which cover should our team use if the offensive team is like 5 yard away from making a tuchdown and probably gonna make a run play? Greets from Germany

So besides the weakness of mismatch personnel, what are the other weakness’s of cover 1?

From a passing standpoint it's mostly mis-matches. Against the run it can delay run reads and players need to read run and get to their run fit.

In your personal opinion, do you think it’s best to run press coverage when running 1 high or would you try to shade it in a base formation of some sort? How would you line your players up when running 1 high?

It’s doomed from the start. Touchdown is the easiest in this defence. Good luck. Such an easy read.

Television coverage of the games is not good in my opinion. It rarely gives a viewer a good view of the overall field and that prevents the fan from seeing all of this. Instead the TV coverage provides a lot of closeups of one player. The best view would be to have an endzone view allowing for vision by the fan of the lanes and all players. Fans don’t need a closeup of the QB’s nose hair. It seems like this in intentional. The TV coverage then can have better looks on their replays and keep fans dependent on the commentators. Fans aren’t allowed to see the whole game. TV lets the fan see what it wants the fan to see. Imagine if in this video only the QB was highlighed! That sure would make for enlightened video. The fan is best served if he can see what the QB sees and the FS sees. But woe to the TV gods if they let the fan have a good view.
