Normally a leaderboard from the platform itself is more than enough, iOS and Android both have their native solutions so yes I agree with you I would say use a native leaderboard for your endless runner.

Does it control what you do on a computer or does it boost productivity
It doesn't control what I do on the computer, it basically reads brain waves and makes sense of them, then you can bind to those for x actions.
