Looks like nice weather.
1992. Special December late hunt in Big Hoke valley.
Arrived the night before to stay in Jackson. Our hotel was heated with geothermal water.
It was 54 below zero. Yes. 54 below zero. The geothermal radiators froze.
The motel brought us extra blankets, but it was damned cold still.
When Fish and Game arrived to open gates on private land for access so we could drive to the ridge tops, one other vehicle just froze up
Coldest day I ever experienced.
Missed my only shot across a ravine in the woods....hit a branch
That's damned cold.
