When i picked up my brand new ‘real’ cab from the main dealership less than 12 months ago it had awful scratches all over it!
Maybe Airfix and LEVC factored that in to make it realistic 😂

LEVC stands for London Electric Vehicle company. Yet another great video.
I think the Quick Builds are a good introduction to model making. After them move on to the Airfix starter sets to progress to traditional models with glue and paint etc.

The first QuickBuild I've seen made in India per video at 1.43. Let's hope those scratches are a one-off.

Really nice but shame about lack of shine I have the hawk in black it’s finish was superb ,it looks like a Poundland £1 toy no reflection on you it’s the quality of the kit mate 😢

Great review Mos! Shame about those scratches, I'd hope it's just a bad-luck draw. Doesn't seem like you have that issue with the other Quick builds you've reviewed.

Poly Watch will buff those scratches out , i use it to restore watch crystals.

Regarding the "ridge/lip" in the tire, if you put the hub in so the back of the wheel is against that lip, the front of the hub will sit flush with the tire.

Those scratches on the body are pretty bad and you could say it looks like a car that's been worked hard for a while. Is it possible to use regular model kit paint on these Quick Build models?

Yes, I often find one of these style kits falls in my basket in lidl when the modelling mojo disappears. I always detail and paint a few bits and pieces. Upsets the purists at model shows...

Not a fan of the stickers
Understand that it's cheaper than providing small tinted clear parts, but they aren't as nice.
And they will fall off if the kids play with the cars...
Wait, the scratches aren't down to Airfix's QC! You've been playing with the taxi out on the pavement haven't you! 😛😛
If that's the standard of quality control I would be demanding my money back.
