Hi. I was looking for fish eye lense for panorama shooting. Please suggest that will the manual focus one will do the job? As you showed in the video that you need to use manual mode. So is normal manual lense will work or I shall invest in auto-focus one?
Hey Ray, Is the panning just as smooth as the vertical? I just bought one, and the panning base is rough feeling. I sent the base back, and they sent me another, and it feels the same. I can feel roughness in my lense, and legs when panning. The vertical is like butter. I am so confused about this. I wouldn't expect this to be normal from them. Thanks for your time!
+TheCloudpuncher It shouldn't be rough. Check to see if dirt or sand is causing that feeling. maybe? I will set up my system to see if there is a difference in the feeling.
Thanks for taking the time to respond! It appears to be free of dirt. It feels and sounds gritty like it has sand in it tho. Watch my video I posted this morning, and you can hear it. I am curious to see what you say about yours. Thanks again!
I was just starting out doing video for you tube. So the early videos we're not as refined. But thanks for the feedback and please remember to subscribe to the channel

Don't you also need the nodal slider to get the lens set exactly above the pupil entry point?
The document comes with the product has more info than the author, almost 80 past, he still tries to talk about the bottom part.

Wrong adapter plate in the description, you have the DVTL-40 not the DVTL-55.
in the video, you can see in the original packaging that the box for the -55 is checked. No?

Hi. I like the video, except it is full of unnecessary pauses, and mmm, ammmm, lost intervals.
