Would love to see y'all play one of the UW Urza Affinity lists that I see in some modern leagues
around @16:00 is there an argument for Vraska down ticking on the Mystic? killing the Troll nets Kannister a mana for Storm, but killing the Mystic puts him to only 4 devotion, so you at least get another draw to find a Thoughtseize before Storm buries you? I mean, game was pretty unwinnable so it probably doesn't matter lol just a line I was considering. Love Pioneer, keep it coming.

I really would love to see my pet deck in modern, RB Goblin Combo. If you are interested I could share my decklist too. I really enjoy the deck and its play patterns. It is complex and has a lot of decision making to get the most efficient plays. I shop at Cardmarket for most of my MTG carreer and I can not imagine a better love letter than that :D All the best, and let me know!

Glad Green Devotion is doing well... Although the one Im making isnt as good, hydras, haha. The next deck I REALLY want one of you to play is Modern Cat Tribal! It's so good! Main board artifact and enchantment destruction with Feline Sovereign. Their is even a cat stax piece with Leonin Arbiter. I also love playing Qasali Ambusher for when getting attacked, plus it gives you block against flying. The deck is as follows

Lands are pretty normal, 4 fetches and shocks, some Boseigu, Who Endures, Cavern of Souls, and some basics. I also have a couple of Gavony Township's for late game stuff. Sideboard is pretty meta, but of course I will companion another Kaheera, Lion Sash is always good (it's another cat), and something to protect the cats, like Snakeskin Veil. I also put in some Deafening Silences and even Mana Tithes. Honestly, if you play it, I would be super happy.
Also, if anyone has anymore ideas, I would gladly hear them

pithing needle is less to cast compared to spyglass and against mono green devotion, the 1 card u should ALWAYS name is KARN the great creator. without KARN, the deck looses all its control and combo wickedness. its only left with creatures as the win con. Hopefully, your deck is equipped to handle creatures or at least stagnate the board with your own creatures and later hopefully play something over the top and win. yes, nykhtos is BROKEN
wow! who would have thought that cards that cheat mana into play (nykhtos) an cards that cheat things into play (winota) would be broken! its simply unthinkable and unforseeable
Dude, nykthos and winota are on very different levels. Nykthos sure is really good but you have to play a mono colour, permenent based deck that runs cards with a lot of mana symbols. The payoff for that is a lot of mana, meaning that your mono colour, on board deck still needs cards to play. Let's compare that to Winota, who literally just asks you to play cheap non humans (mana dorks) and big humans. She then cheats them out early, with card advangate and with immediate board prescence. More importantly, the Winota deck without Winota is still a fairly solid Naya midrange deck; that leads to situations where you're forced to play suboptimally by not tappinng out to cast a threat, using a removal spell on a creature or attacking with creatures because you have to play around a Winota at all times. I'm not saying that Nykthos is bad (cause it definitely isn't) but it seems that you've seen to cards that cheat stuff into play and said that they're the same when they're just not. By your logic, storm the festival is broken because it costs 6 mana and gets 10 mana into play so it's broken. So is Invoke Calamity, Invoke Justice, any reanimation spell ever and plenty more cards are broken because they cheat on mana, but not one tries to get those banned. Also, as you said in another comment, without Karn the deck is 'left with creatures as the only wincon,' and I think we can both agree that winota is a far superior deck. Overall, I can see where you're coming from but I don't think that the two cards are comparable beyond 'both are build around pieces in good pioneer decks.' However, even that's not necessarily true as Mono Green is a perfectly playable Explorer deck, where Nykthos is not legal
@@crillybafoon7730 such a long reply to justify that nykhtos is not broken. fine, i agree with many of your points but cards like nykhtos n winota are just waiting for the card pool to get better for them to exploit n eventually get out of control just like winota with the printing of brutal cathar and tolovor's huntmaster. whose to say, wotc wont print a better devotion card in the near future. its just waiting for its time to warp n dominate the format.
@@benzpinto I was just getting all my points into my reply. The thing with Winota is that the card is just on a different level in terms of how easy it is to enable and what it provides. One day Nykthos may be broken but that can be said for a lot of cards. Winota, on the other hand, is broken right now. If the time comes when Nykthos decks are 20% of the meta then it can be compared to the meta but until then, I see no reason to ban a card that props up so many cool, mono colour decks in Pioneer.

I like this content, but I don't think there is much value in submitting a video where one side plays mtg and the other is on a non-functional brew...
I love the idea of pioneer but the games are kind of a snoozefest. Monogreen devotion is just not very exciting to me.
