Hi Matteo, Glad you enjoyed our latest outing. We were fortunate to get out just before another storm was going to blow in. A super day but still mild. Cheers Charlie.
Hi Frank, These slides are normally in the month of May. We had expected more snow but it's not happening yet with the temperature relatively mild all the way to the top. Cheers, Charlie.
Hi Goprocaz, There was some fantastic light yesterday as the showers came through… just magic. Your never too old to let a slide go by 😂. Cheers, Charlie
It's always a pleasure to get up early and see a new video on the channel. Your journeys have inspired (and still inspire) us to get up into the hills at the weekends. They also make the pinch of an early Tuesday work day more bearable. Best wishes to you and yours. Kindest, D & F
Hi D&F, It's terrific you enjoy our outings and glad it gives a push for the outdoors...... you can't beat it. No work days for us which helps when trying to hit the short weather windows of our winter. Cheers, Charlie.
Hi Dave, It was great to take the opportunity of the small weather window and it turned out a lot better than expected. The changing winter light was magic. Cheers, Charlie.
Hi Kev, The day surprised us a bit as we were expecting it to be wild on the tops but we'll take it. Enjoyable day and we normally do the two from this side but Mike fancies the Glencoe side for the second munro for a change. Cheers, Charlie.
Hi Gordon, We had expected slightly more snow but the temperatures just aren't low enough to keep it lying around. Thanks for watching. Cheers, Charlie.
Thanks again Charlie for another great hike, not sure if it's the climatic conditions on your outings or that camera is a deluxe model, but every film picks up minute horizon detail and a broad spectrum of colours even within the snow. Look forward to next one cheers again!
Hello, Many thanks for watching our latest outing. The winter light certainly enhances the photography with things continually changing. Cheers, Charlie.
Hi Heather, The slide was a good bit of fun. I might not have been smiling quite as much if I'd taken the backside out of my waterproofs....lol. Cheers, Charlie.
Its great to see the snow covered scene at the top, and the contrast with the summer one. I must visit Glen Etive again soon. Good use of gravity with the slide on the way down. 😄
Hello, Glen Etive is always worth a visit, although it isn't looking it's best at the moment with all the water capture construction work. Also makes parking a bit of a pain. Cheers, Charlie.
Good stuff Charlie, can't beat a slide down the snow. I was up there a few weeks ago from Glen Creran and there was plenty of bog - the route from Etive looks better. Look forward to seeing ur next outing.
Hi Selwyn, Many thanks for watching our latest outing. The damp, grey weather appears to be the norm this winter. We’ll just have to ditch the walking boots and go with wellies… lol. Cheers, Charlie
@@charliemccartney7055 I'll be joining u's with the wellies. The combo of damp grey weather with high winds has been the feature of the last few weeks - Still 🤞for something better in the near future.
Once a big bairn always a big bairn ha ha nice wee slide doon Charlie done it plenty myself :) Nice day out Charlie do you two always head up that way and leave the Creran route alone?
Hi Peter, We have always done the hill from this side and normally added the other if a two day hill is an option. It’s a terrific view point on a clear day. You’ve just got to love a slide😂😂😂 providing you don’t rip the backside out of your waterproofs. Cheers, Charlie.
Hi David, Your spot on. The sounds are a big part of capturing the true representation of the day. The wind noise needs to be tapered but it all adds atmosphere. Cheers, Charlie.
Charlie that was an absolute delight to watch , some the camera angles are superb and the wee glissade just topped it off...brilliant 👏
Superb again👏👏
Fantastic hike and video!!

Loving that wee slide at the end Charlie! Never too old! Great wee walk. Cheers. Paul
Hi Paul, You can't miss the opportunity fora slide as long as you don't rip the backside out of the waterproofs....lol. Cheers, Charlie.
Now there's a man who knows how to slide with style.
Hi Alistair, Just couldn't miss the opportunity and it beats walking every time.... lol. Cheers, Charlie.
Aye, still a big kid at heart 😁 Thanks you both . Stay safe 👍🏔
Hi Dave, you can’t miss the opportunity to take the backside off your waterproofs…. lol. Cheers, Charlie
Nice walk there Charlie, good to see you got some snow & views at the top. Love the slide.🤣👍

@@charliemccartney7055 yeh I was expecting to see more snow Charlie, as I was up in the Cairngorm a few days earlier and the snow was everywhere.
I loved the scenery at the beginning of the video, that looked like good fun sliding down the snow.👍

Brilliant Charlie. A rare calm day in amongst these storms. I've done it from that side too. A good approach.

That was a brilliant video Charlie! I loved the bit where you slid down the snow.....bet you felt like you were 10 years old again doing that.

That looked good fun sliding down Charlie. Don't think Mike was impressed lol. Nice video.

Hello My Darling, You just can't miss the opportunity :)...Xxx
The best thing about these videos is that there’s the sound of the wind, the burn and your own unobtrusive commentary…… untainted by any music!
