    Im not sure when the Ear Biscuits team or Rhett and Link decided to stop censoring the few curses sprinkled in the conversations but I am very glad these 44 year old men have finally allowed themselves to embrace the fact that they are in fact, adults, who sometimes drop an F bomb

      Havnt done full research but I’ve heard that RUclips would not allow your video be monetized if you had a certain amount of curse words. Maybe they changed their policy 🤷🏾‍♀️but I agree with ya

    • @patrickblakethesaint
      @patrickblakethesaint Год назад +3

      They are human. We curse. They are just being themselves. They curse when necessary to make a point. Which I wish I did cuz I can't not swear... except in this reply 😂

    • @TallicaMan1986
      @TallicaMan1986 Год назад +3

      Two things happened. There kids are teenagers now and they said they'd like to grow the show with their kids and the other is RUclips went a lot more lax on their curse word censorship.

    • @christianjalexander
      @christianjalexander Год назад +3

      I think the only way that it affects monetization now is if it occurs within the first forty-five seconds of the video. So cursing throughout doesn't affect Adsense like it used to.

    Hey Rhett and Link, I know you probably won’t read this, but I need to write this more for myself than anything. I lost my dad a year and a half ago to Covid. It was my freshman year of college and I was broken. He was my rock and at one of the most pivotal parts of my life he was gone just like that. The feeling of emptiness was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. I’ve been a long time GMM fan since the og Rhett and Link channel, but it wasn’t until a year and a half ago I started watching ear biscuits and learning who you two truly are as people. I cannot thank you enough for the impact that has had on my life. I look towards you not only for entertainment and joy, but for life lessons my dad wasn’t around long enough to teach me. I’m going through a spiritual deconstruction right now and I connect so much with your stories and way of thinking. You’ve helped fill that emptiness that use to overwhelm me and I will forever be thankful for that.

I'm not there for pictures or making friends even. I'm there to be invisible & enjoy a performance. It's a beautiful festival in Grant Park & the food is provided by Chicago restaurants & vendors. Lots of grassy areas to sit in & I think like 10 different stages.

    I’m going to school for Mechanical Engineering. I chose to do this because I like technology and am interested in how things work. But I hear a lot of negative things about what being engineer is actually like. Makes me wonder if I’m putting all this time and effort into something that I’m going to hate.

      it's really all about where you end up working and who you end up working with. i can relate to everything they said but at the end of the day, i like my job a lot and my coworkers are a huge factor in that. but i've only been working for 8 months so i guess there's still time for me to change my mind LOL

      Really depends on what your focus is and if you find a workplace you enjoy. Some workplaces are the devil, but that happens in any profession. I'm in mechanical engineering too - agricultural manufacturing, and on my 3rd company in that category (Thankfully there's like 7 companies here to choose from!) and the first two really sucked. This one I'm at now (almost 5 years) has been fantastic.

      @@jeffskfarmer7394 I appreciate the input. I’ve heard that certain engineering jobs have a very fun and upbeat work environment, but I also know how competitive the field is. I’m worried that I might find myself in a “beggars can’t be choosers” type of situation. I’m still hopeful that I’ll find a position that I like. But the fear of being stuck with a job I dislike looms over me. Your response definitely made me feel a bit better about it though.

      @@paulinexong I agree; the company you keep is everything. Thanks for the encouragement.

      @@trittybitty2447 you'll land in a spot that you like guaranteed. Engineers are needed right now, especially with the old guard hitting retirement age. Right now it's our choice to go where we want and demand what we want.
