Absolutely. I used to drink heavily and my heart goes out all who suffer from this.
I had to get my wake up call from God, I couldn't quit an I was not being albe to walk sever anxiety , 1 was drinking, all day,alot an I had severe dts,the last 2 weeks, I had to drink in the morning after having coffee then I became prisoner I couldn't walk I ,finally I waited for my son to come out ,at some point in time I thought I was gonna die.i told God if it's meant to be so be it,I was scared I knew big problems on hand s an I called around no place would take me cause I'm oxygen at night, will my son took me to the er,an they admitted me ,I almost died mymliver was letting emymzins male nutrition sever dehydration the hospital even try to find they could not so they sent me home with detoxify pills,I did it was better being home cause I have my cat.so now I'm 3yrs sober an 6 month s an I take antidepressant, but I feel I did it my self an God helped me ,I still get down about me being poor,but not as bad mine was bad marriage an environmental depression
@chrishorton8213 I'm from mandan originally and I currently live in grand forks but my gf lives in Bismarck. We are Christians but not catholic. She deals with alcohol and drugs since teenage years growing up on the reservation. Is there a way u could talk to her to see if this is demonic.
Maybe someone in your ancestry was addicted to alcohol. Have holy masses read for the deceased. And ask St. Jude Thaddaeus for help. He is the helper of the hopeless.
I'm not a priest lol ..in case it's obvious but if you want to know if it's demonic.
I think if you get Holy water without her knowing and either put a drop on her or get her to drink it as if it's " normal " water. ..and see if anything happens without her being aware of it being holy ...truly I believe something would manifest if it's there. ..or big enough to react to it .
I drank alcohol nearly everyday for two years. It made me do things I never thought I would do. My drinking intensified when I witnessed the loss of one of my soldiers.
Folks….I will tell you to abstain from alcohol permanently if you can. It will take you down some incredibly dark paths. For the sake of my family. I prayed to stop, and it took about three weeks without it before my body didn’t crave it.
I’ve not had any alcohol for almost three months now. I have no desire for it any longer. I like to think Jesus answered my prayer and knew what I was going through. Just stay away from it!!!

Congrats that is a huge accomplishment. Prepare your mind for the time you will eventually crave and desire it again. The test always comes eventually but just don't take that first drink and you'll be fine.

I just have to jump in here and say, I do believe Ive been afflicted by demons of alcohol, anxiety and compulsive behavior.
Ive been repenting of sin and asking God to free me from these things. The anxiety and compulsions are pretty much gone, the temptation to alcohol remains, but every day I dont give in, it gets weaker.
I have been praying a lot of the prayers with Monsenior Rossetti and they have helped.
You cant get rid of these demons unless you are willing to let go of the hold they have on you.
Pray the rosary everyday even when you don’t want to. Do multiple if needed. It worked for me. Mary will protect you while you gather your strength back up again
Father Chad Ripperger wrote a book called Deliverence Prayers. Very inexpensive. It will help.

Practice choosing God, every day, which is very, very hard. St. Alphonsus Liguori, I believe it was, said we must persevere in asking God for perseverance. And that only those who have the final perseverance will see God.
God bless you and grant you that final perseverance you desire.
I too do not want to be condemned to Hell. God is not there nor will He ever be. I cannot think anything worse than that could happen to me.
I struggled most of today with lustful thoughts. We are told to flee impurity, every other sin we are to confront. That is why our Blessed Mother is so important. Her power is largely in her purity. As well as her full submission to the will of God.
I (we) need perpetual help every single day. Our Lady of Perpetual Help, pray for us. 🙏 Mary, Help of Christians, pray for us.
The fact that you want for those things, you won't be without them. It is all about our will and what we use our will for and that is what God will give us.

I am so thankful to God for my Mom, who saved my life, pulling me away from the clutches of alcohol and all that evil. I am so thankful to God for my husband, who saved his own life, by stopping any alcohol consumption. We live a life centered in Jesus Christ. I pray for all of us that has lost loved ones, and not so loved ones to alcohol use and misuse. May Jesus Christ be with us all. Thank you, Jesus Christ!!!
yes truly! I grew up with an alcoholic father, and it was horrible growing up. And I've seen how many families around me were destroyed by alcohol.

For any other addict out there who may be suffering...
I have struggle with cocaine addiction for years. It brought me to my knees and back to God. I thought I had handed over my will and my life to God, but i hadn't...not fully. And so the compulsion remained. I kept on slipping and struggling...and what a horrible way to live that is!
I foubd myself thinking that either A)God is unfair and helps other addicts and not me.
Or B) I'm not doing enough or not doing the right things!
Of course I knew option B above was the reality.
When I started to follow the "5 stones" requested by Our Lady at Medjugorj, my compulsion was lifted, praise God!
Everyones journey through adfiction is different. I had serious character flaws i needed to work on. But the "5 stones" have changed my life.

If I could humbly give my testimony here..I was under control of the alcohol demon for years. It came down to asking the Lord for help. He did. I owe Him my life because I would be dead now if I had kept drinking. Now I have no desire to touch alcohol thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God is good, God is love. Father Joshua Waltz has a very engaging way of speaking, I found myself wanting to listen to him tell us more of his stories, they're truthful and serious as a heart attack yet i couldnt help but laugh out at his honest reaction seeing tbe lady in the checkout lane, like ruh rohhh now whaaat?😂
"The further into sin we go the less joy we have" This makes so much sense. My nana tells me "If you do good you'll feel good." I understand now. Honestly, I think the younger generation of priests explain things waaaay better.
My family and I visited his parish in Mandan, ND and Father Walz gave a homily on Divine Mercy and had us all in tears. He's great! The Bismarck diocese has great priests.

There are demons behind all addiction, even though they don't necessarily reveal themselves in the way explained in this video. It is a blessing to see what is so often hidden come to light. If more people understood this, they would turn to priests and the Church to be free of addiction.
Please interview Fr. Jose Francisco Syquia. He is the director of the Archdiocese of Manila Office of Exorcism. I read most of his books. His books used to be available at Amazon. What I found most useful is his book Catholic Handbook of Deliverance Prayers. It's a great prayer book like Fr. Ripperger's but what I love about this book is it has prayers that you can show to any ordained non exorcist priests to bless St Benedict medals, salt, house, etc. Some of his prayers are cited by Msgr. Rosetti in his online deliverance sessions.

About once or twice a year, my parish priest will offer anointing of the sick to the general public if you want this. I always go, the priest takes oil and anoints your head, and both wrists while praying for you. After I received the anointing, he went to another woman, he put the sign of the cross on her head and the woman started shaking violently, he only did her head and not her wrists due to her violent shaking. I will never forget that. Luckily, her husband was with her. She shook for about 5 minutes before she calmed down.

When I was 16 I had a friend. We were drinking and he was beyond drunk, WAY beyond drunk. We had gone out into the woods and built a fire hoping we could give him time to sober up. He was staring in the flames saying the Devil's standing in the Fire trying to take his soul and kept passing out and would jerk back awake, coming to his feet like someone was pulling him up by his shirt.
After that night he drank himself to the point of passing out every night until he died at the age of 25. I realize now that the Devil was trying to take his soul.

@@Pepperoni-and-cringe I know alcohol put the fear in me. The last time I had a drink was on my 30th Birthday and in the over 30 years since I have not touched the stuff. Death awaits me in that bottle, I can feel it.

Best thing to do is call the cops on her because your daughter could be kidnapped or overdose on drugs. Safer in jail or rehab. If she has kids then they will suffer the most from her actions.

Absolutely wonderful. I wish I had known much of the information that exorcists learn. My stepson died - result of alcoholism. My daughter does not allow me or my granddaughter in their lives. Is there one or more demons involved in her life and in mine. So much so that while I pray the rosary for her, what else can I do.
The exorcists say we cannot drive demons out of anyone not a spouse or child related or self. That is for a priest and is dangerous.

Please pray for ny son also. Hes been drinking and smoking marijuana for years. Its gotten worse in the past 2 yrs. He wont listen. You cant talk to him about ot- he gets VERY defensive and of couse blames me for his drinking. He goes through jobs left and right.. I have told him to pray and ask Jesus Christ to help him. Im at my wits end. Its hard not to get angry at times. I pray and pray. I rebuke demons from my house as his state is causing problems with my own emotions. Once a lightbulb exploded when he walked into a room. Things always go wrong for him. Ive tried to explain what is going on with the alcohol and its attracting negative thungs. I fully believe in God Our Father and that Jesus Christ was His Son who came to earth in the flesh and duffered and died on the Cross to save us from our sins. I believe in the power of prayer. I know it works. Please pray for him. Thank you and God bless you!

Alcoholic 51 years in recovery, I am certain demonic activity is part of addiction of any variety.
It's I believe one of the main reasons addiction is so hard to overcome.
The church should in my opinion look into demonic activity in addiction and see what they can find out
about how a spiritual
Physical disease that you can't put under a microscope to find the cause because the cause is first spiritual could have a
Demonic activity as part of its nature..

If you look up the definition of alcohol, it says it is one of the main enemies of people. Spirits enter the body once a person becomes intoxicated, they trick you into doing bad.

We trust your experience and insight. This is beyond daily mass, rosary, adoration. This is inevitable. We will have no access to Sacramento Grace, no way to avoid mortal sin, we will not have archangel Michael protecting us, we will not even have our own guardian Angels at the sight of us even during the chastisement, purgation, destruction, and death. THERE IS NO HOPE.
