- One of my FAQ are what pieces to invest in to start a closet like mine. I thought that reviewing my fall wardrobe staples would be the best place to start!
Some of these pieces I’ve had for years + still hold up as if I got them a few months ago, some are newer, but are from brands I’ve trusted for years.
I hope listening to my thought process on how I choose to invest my wardrobe budget helps you build the long-lasting closet of your dreams too!

The first style of paperbag jeans is not an investment, it's a trend that happens to be incredibly expensive and the style won't last. Not hating, but I genuinely think they look terrible in the back. I've seen you wear way better jeans girl...
I’ve seen paper bag pants designs every year for the last decade. I don’t think the trend is going anywhere. Like I said, it’s a Jean that’s different from my everyday collection that I feel adds to my wardrobe. Totally get it if it’s not for you!
B X I agree. The jeans kind of look like the shape of a diaper. Not a flattering fit in my eyes.
Erika W yeah I don’t know why but the paper bag jeans go in and out of fashion so fast . I don’t think it’s a classic staple
can def vouch for the free people quilted jacket being GREAT quality. i purchased right after i saw jess feature it in a different video; she makes a great case here on why it's something to possibly invest in. i can't wait to wear it multiple times throughout fall/winter!

Why choose to title your video "worth the investment" when this is a sponsored video and you didn't even have to invest in the items? They were gifted.... I am all for sponsorships, this just seems like a misleading title.
4 of the pieces in the video were from the partnership. It’s called an integrated partnership , not the whole thing is about Farfetch
The camper boots, agolde paper bag jeans, and the lock charm were what we’re gifted to me as part of the Farfetch partnership. And I researched and put a lot of consideration on which items I thought were worth the price point they were at. I could have chosen many of the items on Farfetch’s site, but I chose these bc I think they will be relevant years later + that the quality will hold up. “Worth the investment” means that I think that these pieces are worth the price point they’re being sold at because of the quality / longevity they will have in my closet.
I just had to revisit this video bc I FELL in love with the anine bing sweatshirt and couldn't stop thinking about it 😍
I initially went to the linked farfetch site and thought it was way out of my price range...little did I know it was in Canadian dollars! lmao
I believe I just bought the last medium size on the site and I wanted to ask how you clean the sweatshirt? I saw on the site that the care instructions call for dry cleaning only and was wondering if you follow these instructions? (or if anyone has an anine bing piece and has advice) I'm reluctant to dry clean often due to COVID but I want/plan to wear this sweatshirt all the time lol

Hey! I just looked and it does look like the exact colour I have is sold out. They do bring things back in stock every so often so keep an eye out! Champagne Diamond or Fresh Citron are cute alternatives too :)

How was the sizing on the Isabel Marant Denvee boot? I’m a is 7.5 sometimes 8 and I’ve heard they run FR Sizing small… unsure if. 38 or 39 would work for me. Thanks!
I have always been 38 in Isabel shoes. I’d say size .5 up maybe? I’m usually a 37.5/38 in boots

I’m usually a 7.5/8 in boots and I got a 38! I feel like a 39 might work for you? Double check their sizing chart too :)

You said the acne coat had cashmere in it but the coat in the link says its 100% wool. Is it a different (but similar) coat?
Hey it could be I linked the newer version that doesn’t have cashmere. I’ll look around to see if any still have cashmere. The shape is the same though
