This video should be titled "Gene Hoglan´s boots featuring Gene Hoglan casually playing drums and some guys from Dimmu Borgir playing guitar"
PS: some drum parts remind me of "Individual Thought Patterns"
PS 2: Can´t believe this video hasn´t more views than "Despacito"

I love Dimmu Borgir, haved loved them since For All Tid... but Daray must have agreed to some funky stuff and potentially to doing favors of a physical nature to be able to become their drummer (though officially Dimmu is 3-piece and Daray is considered a session member?). While an excellent drummer in his own right, he is far from perfect for Dimmu and my guess is that loyalty and dog-like obedience was part of why he got the gig over better drummers who would have become a flight risk at some point. So -- a solid business decision on DB's part but a huge sacrifice artistically speaking. And, of course, Gene is great but it would never go past some jamming and off-season fun. In my opinion Spiritual Black Dimensions was their best album and, by extension, their best lineup. Tjodalv, even with Nick Barker taking over and absolutely killing it, was their best drummer. Period.

Couldn't agree more. I was gonna make a comment about how they could possibly get so boring. Spiritual black dimensions this was their pinnacle. The riffs and arrangements nowadays utter garbage in comparison.
