Cade is a maestro man, you can see him calculating the defenses and how to break it down. He does need a number 2 to take over the handle though because by the end of games dude is gassed lol
The JB Bickerstaff problem. He’s not creative offensively to play two players that can’t shoot and this is coming from a Cavs fan. Offenses are too heliocentric
I think not moving Ausar is the bigger issue with Duren than them being incompatible. You have two elite vertical finishers. If you can't understand how to generate 2 on 1's that's a coaching issue Every time his man leaves or turns his head Ausar should be cutting. He makes himself easy to guard by not moving off ball and voluntarily taking the shot the defense wants him to take
@luniz4209 No it's only going to result in 2 points but why would anyone want open dunks In all seriousness it will though. If a player has a reputation as a good cutter he gets face guarded. Just like Duren gets played differently off ball than Stew. Dwyane Wade in 2016 when he still had some athleticism left was second in the NBA in gravity behind only Steph. Great cutters will get guarded like great shooters and bring face guarded does help spacing.
Oh god. Fit maybe because both Ron and Ausar are SF/SG not SF/PF and Ware can theoretically play 4 but in terms of value that would have been completely unhinged Ron was a tier 1 guy on a lot of boards. You'd rather just have the better player if it's not close so No
@@nickeddy1823 different positions is the point of being a better fit. With Stew pr Ware potentially playing PF it would have spread out the draft picks. With more people questioning Duren it might have given us a stretch centerso Ausar can start without creating a spacing nightmare
@@michaelahurt most boards with Ron in the top ten didn't have Edey in the top ten. Would Edey have been the better fit at 5? Are we basically saying Matas should have been the pick?
Bottomline... Stop with the Boxscore All Stars. You don't applaud or reward losing basketball. Its not hard to score 20pts on 20 shots. It's not hard to accumulate assist when you pass 50+ times per game. I'm not impressed. Nothing about Ca e Cunningham game will have anyone outside of Detroit wanna stop what they're doing to tune in to watch his selfish, ugly game.
All-star supposed to be based on individual talent not whether you win or losing that’s what’s wrong with All-Star game now it’s full of favor and bullshit. You can miss 20 games and still make it too the All-Star game, which is bullshit. All-Star last year shouldn’t be automatically this year. Who playing best up to the All-Star game?
How they used Ausar in their last game is exactly how they need to use him going forward

Cutting to the rim from the corner while Cade is driving is not going to improve spacing.

You need a lane to be open to cut lol. Ausars defender already has 1 foot in the paint a lot of the time
🔥🔥🔥 YESSIR
Do you think Kel'el Ware would have been a better fit than Ron Holland?
No
No. Because that's 2 completely different positions and ware probably not playing g over duren or stew
