How is the mag plug? Have you killed the engine yet? I couldnt trust a magnet to keep the oil en the engine... one bad bump and bye bye magnet, hello oil
I put BORA 2" wheel spacers on my 2020 Colorado and I had to trim slightly at the rear of the front wheel wells, remove some plastic trim and bend edge of fender flange. Front wheel also rubs slightly when in reverse and steering is cut hard. Just need to trim back the plastic behind the fender liner. Nothing major
I would NOT trust a magnetic drain plug on anything designated / used for "offroad"... and that oil filter being that tight could be the result of a quickie oil shop not changing the filter due to the annoying filter location... I worked in one of the quickie oil change spots for a few years... I have witnessed many filter changes SKIPPED due to annoying location. EDIT: I have a 2018 z71 Colorado and this video may lead you to believe that this internal filter change is a lot easier... trust me, that oil filer is deep into the engine compartment and at a slight angle.... the angle and the required extension "throws off" a cheap torque wrench.
No. The parts removed have nothing to do with the alignment. But if you're getting new tires, an alignment should be done anyway to protect your investment.
Hey sorry, I was trying to keep the camera face where I can see if everything is in frame. Thus was a while ago. I was learning. I'm not a young tech guy lol.
I don’t think I could trust just a magnet to hold my oil in the pan.
Why did you reverse the first part of the video when you're installing the spacer?
Can you tell me where the oil pressure switch is located on a 2015 Chevrolet Colorado LT 2.5L

Thank for this tutorial and information..
What size tires are those?
Can't say I remember. Maybe a 315?
I was taught you only cross rotate bias ties and front to back radial tires.
I always cross. But thats me.
Cecil: That was my understanding as well. You can not cross rotate directional either.
Yup, no one knows until they peel the treads off and wonder why.
Just a 2 inch leveling kit on my 16. Inner fenders rub a bit. Will this prevent this?
Depends on backspacing of the wheels. But yes.
We call them Diesel Dorks here in Colorado. You know the guys with 20"s and 10"lifts that never hit the trails. A bone stock CRV could out wheel them.
Hhahaa that's funny. Love it
Did the tires end up rubbing the fender wells?
Not at all.

With the leveling kit, I assume those tires rubbed at full turn of the steering wheel. True?
Oops. I see the question already asked below.
Answer is still no lol
Does it affect me in driving stability?
Not at all. Still rides the way the factory made it.
You forgot to put the safety wire back on the magnetic plug.
Actually you're right. I realized that after and reinstalled. Good catch my man.
What brand and size are the tires..?? They look good..
I think 285/75 nitto terragrapler. Was a while ago.
They're Nitto Ridge Grapplers...

What is the the tire size??
Does the truck require alignment after spacer install. Thanks

Do you know the make/manufacturer of the drain plug?
Sorry, not off hand.
How big spacers where those?
2 inch I think
@ 16:43 - 1.5 inch.
My2018 has 17 rims spare is 16 rims
Why is your video reversed? All the writing and part numbers are reversed, and you're tightening lug nuts counter-clockwise...
