I absolutely love this aesthetic, especially when it’s dark and rainy as the neon lights and skyscrapers juxtaposed with the darkness really accentuates and emphasizes how humanity can beat back the elements with advanced technology and scientific innovation. It really shows that there is nothing that can impede the prosperity of humanity besides humans themselves.

I'll figure it out and more to come soon! Cheers~
why is everyone speaking so sophisticated.. I mean it fits well with the theme of the video but still, there's slow ppl like me that need time to process what you're saying 🥲
Certainly so! As much as I love the sound of wind through the trees and the soothing ambience of a rolling river, the static of wires and the whitenoise of traffic on neon streets soothes me in almost the exact same way ^~^
most people dont really think about it but once you do, the fact that this city was completely designed from nothing by a team of people, all of the buildings, ads and sounds and what not, its crazy and insane.
💯! I think the part that amazes me the most is the sheer verticality of the design. There are just layers upon layers of intriguing and engaging city to uncover and discover! Especially if you snag the Double Jump cybernetic upgrade, a whole new level of verticality opens up. I hope that they (or modders) continue to flesh out and implement more business, apartment buildings, clothing shops and restaurants, and eventually open up all those closed doors to places of interest!
@@Sannosama the upgrade lets you see rooftops and stuff, and yeah that also opens a whole new view of the city, you can make it up to some roofs and just look down and enjoy what the city has to offer from there. and for the content, yeah that would be perfect! thats why im waiting on phantom liberty as well as just spying nexus daily to see anything cool and new
I love how chaotic JapanTown is, there are some specific areas where you are standing at street level and if you look up you are surrounded by giant chaotic skyscrapers that are connected with bridges, but in exactly the same place if you look down you will find 20 floors of apartments below you, as if it were a neighborhood inside the sewers, and as crowded with bags of garbage as a real sewer
There is something about it, it has a life, a feeling that keeps me coming back no matter how messed up it is. Like Jackie said "I can't stop digging Night City..."
I love how this transitions through the different parts of the day, and there's a story to be constructed through the various announcements. In my head the person experiencing this has taken a couple days off from work and is staying at home, well-off enough to have a high-rise apartment with an amazing view and is just decompressing.
Thanks so much! I think I got really lucky on the weather flow on this one. I've tried to record several more, but keep getting these long stretches of like orange toxic clouds that pretty much cover the whole screen

oh wow, me too lol, I would like NightCity to be a real city. I would like to know how it feels to live in a apartment inside those chaotic buildings. Like in JapanTown, that place where the Arasaka parade takes place, where there is an open-air market in the middle of the heights. There are also Japanese temples, gardens, public lounges, basketball courts and squares with statues, all on different floors of the same sector, which can be accessed by elevators, stairs, bridges and wide public hallways.

This has become so useful for me both to sleep and when studying. I work graveyard shifts, so when I need to rest it's kinda hard because everyone's awake and this tunes most of the stuff out such as the neighbors dogs and her car, or anything else unpleasant. At night when doing assignments I need background noise and usually would just settle for whatever RUclips let's play series I've watched like a dozen times... but they still can be distracting. This has a strange simplicity to it that I really appreciate.
I feel you 💯. The racket of apartment living and the activities of everyone around can get overwhelming and I need things like this to tune out and focus on my work or finally getting some rest. I'm so thankful this has been helpful to you ^~^
It really is incredible! I absolutely love the verticality of the city design. Some of the designers were talking about how challenging it was to create that sense of sprawling city after adding vehicles, where when you were walking sure it felt huge, but they couldn't have it take only 5 minutes to get across town in a car. One of my FAVORITE mods for the game is Grand Theft Auto 5 Fast Travel where you get this INCREDIBLE aerial view of the city. It truly is sprawling!!
@@Sannosama wish I could. It’s only in my imagination now. It’s like i wish I could live a different life in that type of world but I only live that in my dreams and when I wake up or snap back into focus, reality is there to smack me in the face 😂

Im in love with this place. I've been here for so long (200-210h). Running around this city and just looking how amazing job CDPR have done. The story hidden in this city is just amazing the whole thing witch Judy and Panam, all side quests and main story with V and Johny Silverhand. I see one bad thing in Edgerunnes there was a lot of cyberpsyho ppl and in cyberpunk they are not that powerfull as shown in the edgerunnes and there are not so many of them. This game in my eyes are the masterpiece and one of the best games of all time. CDPR show us a new era of gaming first time with The Witcher 3 in 2015 and now with Cyberpunk 2077 in 2020. In my opinion this game is should be a legend in 10 years like Witcher and Minecraft.

It's funny, IRL cities are scary to me and a bit depressing because there's not a lot of green, but this gives me a weirdly calming, but lonely feeling that I'm not sure how to accurately describe. Like being nostalgic for a place I've never been.
I know what you mean about IRL cities being depressing for lack of natural environment. I'm in Seattle now, which has so much green in the area that it counteracts all the concrete, but I remember feeling swallowed and oppressed while in Tokyo. Wires and concrete above and below as far as the eye could see. Thanks so much! Got really lucky with the weather during this take. I've got another great spot picked out and about 80% of the way through Uploading a new Cyberpunk Ambient Vid, but the weather keeps freaking out and doing weird stuff during certain points. I'll figure it out and more to come soon! Cheers~
why is everyone speaking so sophisticated.. I mean it fits well with the theme of the video but still, there's slow ppl like me that need time to process what you're saying 🥲
It's strange how the sounds of a city can be so relaxing.
Certainly so! As much as I love the sound of wind through the trees and the soothing ambience of a rolling river, the static of wires and the whitenoise of traffic on neon streets soothes me in almost the exact same way ^~^
Especially night city of all places
Yeah fr @@treynienhuser2616
sounds like home, its almost strange how night city has become like a second home, a world so rich with stories that feel as real as our own
most people dont really think about it but once you do, the fact that this city was completely designed from nothing by a team of people, all of the buildings, ads and sounds and what not, its crazy and insane.
100%!
It really has a life and "spirit" all it's own.
The most prominent character in Cyberpunk imo is Night City itself!
the sounds of the AV flying by sounds so uncanny and soothing at the same time
Yeah, the deep rumble of the AV's is one of my favorite sounds in the city. Definitely soothes me the most
I love how this transitions through the different parts of the day, and there's a story to be constructed through the various announcements. In my head the person experiencing this has taken a couple days off from work and is staying at home, well-off enough to have a high-rise apartment with an amazing view and is just decompressing.
Thanks so much!
I think I got really lucky on the weather flow on this one. I've tried to record several more, but keep getting these long stretches of like orange toxic clouds that pretty much cover the whole screen
when the lady around 2:07 talks, its so comforting for some reason. also, NC feels like home to me, it gives me comfort for some reason...

@@johnpooky84 Yeeeeah~! It was originally published in 1988 as Cyberpunk 2020 by Mike Pondsmith. Definitely recommend. If you're interested in playing, or even just looking into it, lemme know and I may or may not be able to totally hook you up with everything you need ;)

Call me crazy for dreaming of a city like Night City, but there's something so fascinating about it. I would just love to immerse myself in it and live there forever, and never leave. Maybe I'm depressed and pessimistic about my life I lead, but the world of Cyberpunk 2077 has been like a revelation for me. I know there's nothing to idealize in a dystopian city, but it's made me feel for the first time what it feels like to be truly at home
No i have genuinely told people i would give up EVERYTHING to live in night city i wanna be there so bad
honestly me too
oh wow, me too lol, I would like NightCity to be a real city.
I can relate so much with this
Same man same city just feels so cool id rather live in 2045 in the universe imagining the red sky just wants to make me figure out a way to get there
For whoever watching this , we don't know each other and probably never will but I wish you all the best in life and all the luck in the world and of course get some quality sleep , rest well everyone! 😴😴😴

im a writer in my spare time, and i usually listen to ambience videos while i write !! i primarily focus on historical fiction [my main story takes place in the 1920s] so im typically drawn to those kinds of ambience videos to get in the mood, but i absolutely LOVE this cyberpunk ambience, it’s so immersive and strangely soothing . i’ve always loved the concept of a futuristic world like cyberpunk and ive been inspired to make a futuristic universe like it !! ^^ thank you for this !!
I'm so glad that you're finding it helpful for your writing and that it's sparked some new avenues of imagination! Always a joy to meet other writers ^~^

@@Sannosamait’s a murder mystery kind of thing !! it takes a lot of inspiration from the great gatsby . it’s a huge work in progress but writing has always been a passion of mine !! ^^
This has become my go-to video whenever I need to get work done. It’s just enough white noise to keep you focused without being distracting.
Plus it’s so calming to listen to on speakers or with bone conducting headphones so the sound bleeds into the real world.
You’re a lifesaver for this!
I'll give it a try
Thank you so much for the kind words, choom!
I'm so thankful that it's helping you hit that sweet stride while you focus on getting your work done.
I personally have trouble sleeping to things like this with all the verbal advertisements fighting for my attention, but just like you find it to be the perfect ambience to focus and work!
Best of luck to you in all that you pursue ^~^
The vibe of having this on in the background, relative to the actual time of day is amazing. I’ve never played Cyberpunk but this makes me want to
I hope you're able to give it a shot sometime!
It really is an excellent RPG, and Night City is truly something to behold ^~^
Imagine if this video is 24 hours long.... i will put it on big screen in my room so i can act like its a window 😍✨️💕
Ooo, I just learned about these Projector Window tricks from the comment section here recently!
Gah, I wonder if I could swing a 24 hour long video O_o
That would be amazing!
@@Sannosamabro that would be so cool if you actually did that

Really glad it's helping you sleep! Hope to catch you NC Dreamland sometime ^~^
The feeling I get from night city is that of freedom contrary to its dystopian nature, free to rebel, explore, hide, be seen. I just want it.
I'm so thankful this has been helpful to you ^~^
It's amazing how they make Night City seem so big! Considering it is so small compared to cities today
It truly is sprawling!!
this was the first video i’ve ever seen of cyberpunk 2077, almost a year later, it’s my absolute favorite game of all time
A technologically advanced city with a calming atmosphere is something that I thought I would never see, but here I am and it's beautiful
It's like when Destiny came out. The tower had this atmosphere, very similar to this, that would just put my mind at ease.
I'm glad it helps put you at ease, choom!

I never had a game that I connected with so deeply and the ambiance of Night City is a huge part of it thanks for thi vid
Something about it really resonated with me too. I often found myself simply settling into the hum of the city, and I can't remember the last game that got me so sucked into the world. Maybe Red Dead Redemption 2? But even then, just not the same.
@@Sannosama last time that happened to me (other than Cyberpunk, I finished my first run this week and am gonna start a new one soon) is Star Citizen, there are a few places where the ambience is just sooo cool. The game itself struggles to be fun for now, but it's very well developed in terms of ambient visuals and sounds, especially in cities and space stations

Cyberpunk is one of those games i could just walk around in with no goal, enjoying the immersion. Never though I would enjoy a game so much.
Cyberpunk is going to be remembered as CDPR's crowning achievement, mark my words. The pain the team must have felt at release, and the absolutely perfect game it has become after 2.0 has to have been the redemption of a lifetime.
It's very immersive to combine this with some futuristic music, like you're on the streets of night city listening to music and just chilling.

Thank you for this. It feels so good knowing that the city is my sandbox but at the same time, my home and place where I sleep. Shits so relaxing.
Why is this technical hell so comfortable in my ears 👂🏼

It's funny, IRL cities are scary to me and a bit depressing because there's not a lot of green, but this gives me a weirdly calming, but lonely feeling that I'm not sure how to accurately describe. Like being nostalgic for a place I've never been.
I know what you mean about IRL cities being depressing for lack of natural environment. I'm in Seattle now, which has so much green in the area that it counteracts all the concrete, but I remember feeling swallowed and oppressed while in Tokyo. Wires and concrete above and below as far as the eye could see. Still, it was a really wonderful city to experience ^~^
It is definitely a strange sensation to be nostalgic for places we've never truly been to. I feel that way sometimes about living out in the open country and living a simpler life..
