    Unfortunately, this trend seems to be increasingly common among Gen Z (though not all, of course). I agree with your point. We need to better understand Gen Z's life goals, mission, and mental state to see if the internship aligns with them.
    For interns or young employees, the best way to ensure a good fit is through a thorough filtering process. This could involve assessments or scenario-based questions to gauge their genuine interest in the job and clearly presenting the challenges they will face to see how they respond.

    You might be overvaluing what you give in exchange for their time and labor. Gen z have learnt what loyalty gets you from millennials and gen x. We exchange our labor to the highest bidder because we can be fired when ever the boss wants to increase their profits

      A horrible mentality to have when building a career or business, that's why a lot of people are going to suffer and have mental health issues.
