What is not said in this video is that Russian satellite intelligence has been all over this from the start. Like the U.S., the Russians have "eyes in the skies". And now, the Russian military will pounce. This has been a strategic calculation on Russia’s part. THEY are in command of the situation.

How on earth can you say this? if that's the case how did the Russians allow Ukrainians to get that far? why was intel ignored? why was border defense so poor? why has it taken so long to bring in reinforcements? Russia seems to have been utterly unprepared

So far it’s working, the Russian are in disarray and moving troops out of Donbas
So this looks to be a good move. For it to be a bad move the Russians have to push them out. That will mean pulverizing parts of Russia like the Russian do in Ukraine.
You may want it to be a bad move but it’s not !

@sawtoothbygeorge, the size of the Ukrainian army exceeded one million in July 2022, and it has been over that million ever since. Currently this size is 1.4 million, which is the biggest amount ever in this war. So the Russian war-propaganda, which has been telling, that practically the whole Ukrainian army has been decimated, is totally wrong. But from that amount nearly 30% is currently in military training camps in Ukraine and abroad. Then there are several auxiliary tasks, which the Ukrainian army has to do, but which th Russian army in Ukraine can skip. And the Ukrainian military reserve is much stronger than the Russian one, because the Ukrainians can't use large areas as their defense in as big amounts as the Russians can. So the front line stregths are now 440000 in the Russian army in Ukraine and 420000 in the Ukrainian army. But the Russian army has much more air planes, battle helicopters, missiles, artillery pieces and shells than the Ukrainian army. So the Russian firepower is much bigger. And that has given Russia a crucial edge. But the new Ukrainian soldiers will finish their training period in October - December, and soon after that the ratio of power will start to favour Ukraine. This time period from April to August was the darkest hour of the night from the Ukrainian perspective, and it will be dawn soon. Putin has to start a new partil mobilisation before October, or his army will face big manpower difficulties in 2025. Glory to Ukraine ! Glory to the heroes !

Honestly, MacGregor does more harm than good with his stance on everything. It's just not accurate and you can go back easily on any interview from a year back, if they haven't been deleted. It's more clickbait than anything.
The Kursk landgrab gives leverage to negotiations. Russia may force Ukraine out too, but AFU will just pick somewhere else and do it again, as Russia slogs it out in the stale east. And this is why I said, Russia had to invade Odessa. Economically, this changes the war... and it ends the war. The east is a slow grind. It leaves only devastation that will have to be rebuilt. The north doesn't mean much, and you see Russia giving it away, again. But the remaining deep sea port? That's strategically where both militaries will have the final battle. Landlocking the Ukrainian economy means Ukraine is economically dead.

As of now this video is 2 weeks old and seems, so far, to be inaccurate. As Ukraine has continued their advance in Kursk and even, albiet slowly, but nonetheless, expanded their gains and consolidated their grasp in Russian occupied lans. That being said, I'm quite certain Putin would, reluctantly, but ultimately, be happy to trade small parts or Kursk and/or other inconsequential parts of semi rural Russian/Ukrainian boarder lands for the prized, long (centuries) fought for with sweat n blood, highly desired Crimea and the land bridge connecting it. Russia has, for all its history, been in search for and been in need of a warm water port that does not freeze in the winter as they do not posses one atm with the exception of Tartus in Syria which is not connected to their land mass nor in their country and another in Kaliningrad which is also an exclave though of their nation. Furthermore, as Kaliningrad lies within the NATO lake that is the Baltic Sea it is virtually impossible to move assets in n out without the constance of US/Allied monitoring. In an honest way, I'd almost be inclined to say that Crimea is deserved to be of Russia as it is predominately Russians who live there (since Stalin deported all the ethnic tribes anyway) and they have historically fought for, occupied and industrialized it. Also I'd add that for the sake of world peace and the need to, rather than box in Russia, but give it the respect worthy of a 2nd/3rd of the worlds powers and allow it a top necessity of it's ambition. This would do much to ease tensions and show Russia that we'd (The West) like to move forward as a world, more productively. Sadly it comes at the expense of Ukraine and as a patriot of the USA it also comes at the expense of a grand geoposititoning we have taken largely to simply put the pinch on and take away from Russia. We already took Lybia from Russia and tried to take Syria away from them too. Russia does not want to be allied with China. They know China is a much greater threat to them. They want be be part of the West but first they need the respect they believe they deserve. Russia would be a vital asset for us as we come ever closer to a war with China. Is there nothing we can do to make the world a better place? Putin wont live forever. Let us find a cure for the madness and build a bond with Russia. Let us show them respect. God bless the USA and the whole world too.

A lot of blabber, little substance. Does Macgregor know he is taken hostage as an authority for this clip? Who is WarZone Echo, or better: who is *behind* WarZone Echo? I don't care if he's Russian or Ukrainian, but this channel's communication format is definitely not analytic. We'd be better off with just a link to the *text* of MacGregor's assessment, instead of underlaying the narrative with repetitive video snippets and standstills that are as generic as they are arbitrary, not to speak of CGI.

I like McGregor but sometimes he talk the same thing again n again abt the origin of this war etc We would like to hear the ground development as the Colonel hv repeated said that he have his sources n so we would like to hear the ground development.
But for me, i dont buy this is Ukraine but it is NATO n this was evident by the exposure of the captured ukrainians soldier who said that the English n British n others r planning n directing n operating at the back hiding from being captured. if NATO directly involved in this incursion then putin will activate the Article which will lead to a vry dangerous outcome n will put the world on the road to a deadly unknown.

U made many mistakes: 1) Ykraina is not a nation. They are Russians. Most of them. They have always been a part of Russia since before its conception. 2) the Russians did know and were aware months ago about that offensive. The reasons they let it unfold are unknown to me. There are proofs about that. they weren't totally surprised 3) this in not the Ukrainian army that attacked. It's a NATO army. Weapons, equipment, soldiers, active special forces of NATO countries, intelligence, tactics, even nuclear terrorism are all NATO and former Nazi tactics. 4) there can be no serious force of some brigades. Some say 4, others say 6. Even with superbly trained and eager soldiers, these forces are just for some special terrorist purpose or media stunts. You can not invade and win against Russia even with 6 millions of superbly trained and experienced men. As it's proven during "Operation Barbarosa" of the Great Patriotic War. And NATO has not even a 100 000 superbly trained, all the more so, motivated soldiers to do such an invasion

Zelensky didn't try to prevent the conflict through diplomacy because he lacks honor and integrity.
In 2014 there was a coup. Soon after, there was a massacre in Odessa (dozens of people were burned alive). Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed. A civil war broke out due to the rise in ethnic tensions. For 8 years the Ukrainian military was indiscriminately shelling civilians living in Donbas.
If Zelensky honored the Minsk agreement and pledged neutrality, none of this would have happened. The 8 year civil war would have ended and Donbas would have remained part of Ukraine. War is the ultimate failure of diplomacy.
Zelensky, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande admitted that Ukraine had no intention to honor the Minsk agreements.
Who didn't want peace? Who advised against the 2022 peace talks in April? Hint: someone visited Zelensky in Kiev at that time.
Russia's national security was compromised once NATO began to expand eastwards. Russia clearly stated that Ukraine joining NATO was a red line (November 2021) and unfortunately this concern was never taken seriously. The Russians openly stated: if nothing changes, we will be forced to act in order to defend our national security. Enhancing the national security of one country at the expense of another is unacceptable. The Russians have legitimate security concerns.
20th September, 2021: Ukraine launched military drills with US and NATO
NATO is not a defensive alliance. NATO illegally bombed Yugoslavia (a direct violation of the U.N. Charter).
We should never forget what they did to Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq etc.
Who blew up the pipeline causing an environmental disaster?
Zelensky banned all opposition and arrested a leading priest.
Zelensky tried to invoke article 5 under false pretenses. Remember the incident in Poland.
Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed.
Poroshenko said, “Our children will go to schools and kindergartens-theirs will hide in the basements”.
Russians will never forget the 2014 Odessa massacre. The whole world needs to know about it.
Why was Denis Kireev eliminated? He was a member of Ukraine's negotiating team during the peace negotiations. He wanted to help his country.
Ukraine has a hit list. They target artists, journalists and ordinary citizens. Hundreds of children are on this list. 13 year old Faina Savenkova was placed on this list.
Pink Floyd's Roger Waters is on this list. Jimmy Dore (American stand-up comedian, podcaster) and Aaron Maté (Canadian writer and journalist) are on this list.
There is evidence that Ukrainian troops have been indiscriminately shelling civilians in Donbas (they used petal mines and targeted areas where there was no military presence).
The azov troops trapped in the azovstal steelworks in Mariupol used human shields. They refused to allow civilians to leave despite of humanitarian corridors being present.
Russia held a proposed cease fire in order for the civilians to leave, but azov would not allow the civilians to leave.
Ukraine has committed many acts of terrorism (car bombs and other forms of assassination). Darya Dugina (journalist) R.I.P.
The first terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed the truck driver and the individuals in the adjacent car (innocent civilian victims).
The second terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed two parents and severely injured their young daughter.
I have done a lot of research and it took me a long time to write this comment. I have stated a lot of facts and I have given my honest opinion.
I have provided a brief summary of events that took place. In order to explain this whole situation in great detail, a book would need to be written.
Hopefully someone will write an UNBIASED book, stating facts and allowing the readers to form their own judgments. Everything I said can be fact checked and verified.
