Haha! Not going to lie, this comment took me out 😂 I plan to alternate the figures as the year ends so the background will look a little bit different lol
Pop up parade has always been a bit hit or miss to me. Some like Sagiri and Yunyun I like, but a lot of them look and feel like overpriced Prize figures, Haven’t got any L size ones yet, had no idea Ryuko had one. Definitely need to get her too cause im a fan of Kill La Kill. Great video man!!
The Pop Up Parade Ls are more consistent in terms of their quality than the standard PUPs because they don’t release as many! Thanks for watching and glad that you enjoyed it lol
I remember that Top Gear episode! I believe it was the Romania special! Thanks for showing off Ryuko. I definitely prefer the PUP L one over the Phat! Company one from years ago.
Right! It was hard not to include that meme from the show lol Don’t get me wrong, the Phat Company version is pretty cool too, but the pose was too low and hard to see.
Thank you for making a video on this topic. I do like how some Pop Up Parade L figures look. However, with a little bit more money, you can go for the 1/7 scale, if one is available. Given the amount of space I have, I always opt for the scale, which characters of many popular franchises seem to tank in value after release. For the Pop Up Parade line, by default I'd only consider picking up ones from specific franchises, such as Hatsune Miku, Nekopara and Hololive, where the overall quality control seems higher than their peers. With all that said, I love the PUP Lin and Ren. The twins seriously need more figures made.
Thank you for watching the video! I definitely agree! If you can opt for the scale, you should! However for some characters they don’t make proper scales and if they do, some of them are surprisingly expensive (like the Tony tala scales of the twins). Pop Up Parade Ls are the closet thing we can get as a scale for some characters! The standard PuPs are great for their character variety (quality is very hit or miss) because even Taito’s Coreful and AMP+ line are just popular characters.
They are! I am very impressed with the Zero Two PUP because she is definitely better than her standard PUP! The standard PUP makes her look like a hot mess 😂
I'm near-sighted, so I get on pretty well with the cheaper end of the figure scale since I can't see the fine details when they're just on my shelves anyway. Lines like prize figures and popup parade are a very cost-effective way of diversifying and filling out a collection.
Exactly! And honestly, prize figures have come a long way! I love Taito’s AMP+ and Coreful Product line! Also, FuRyu’s Tenitol line are pretty much cost effective scales!
@@DiamondFlame45 Yep. My favourite figure is "just" a prize figure. I have a variety of values and production qualities, but at the end of the day what matters is the emotion they evoke, and the cheap noodle stopper I have perched on top of my monitor is extremely cute.
30k yen for a pre-owned Miku Vampire pup, yikes that's like 1 - 2 scales for that price. Btw, the Miku Mirai 2022 looks nice but she takes some space because of her twintails.
You are definitely right! And she does XD But I still have no regrets getting her! I was hoping to get Mirai 2023 Miku in September but she got delayed to Dec 2024! At first, I didn’t want to get her but her streetwear HERO design grew on me lol
regardless if its good price range i will buy it on my waifus i love. Nice video, i do need help in crafting better video's on my new channel. Any tips on better video editing? I never use music in my background at all... i try to get music made but zero skill in that area.
No problem dude! I am happy to help! 1️⃣ Choose a video editing software and focus on it! I use Camtasia but there are free ones like Davinci Resolve too that are very good. If you have a Mac, I know those come with free editing software too, I think it’s called iMovie. To get better at editing, you have to keep doing it. I also recommend removing unnecessary parts and ums lol 2️⃣ as for music, I recommend using epidemic sound! They have a free trial if you are interested. I use them in my videos! Even if the subscription ends, your videos won’t get flagged! I hope this helps. You got this!
Dude I can't believe that GoodSmile Company listened about the bases. I am glad I made a video complaining about it. Not that they watched it. But that was the worst part. I still wish they were the nice clear and flat promo image bases but black round bases are miles better than the giant ugly color Hexagons they all came with originally. Just the bases alone ruined the figures for me and made me not want to buy anymore.
Hot take! I actually enjoyed how colorful the original hexagon bases were! But I agree, they did take too much space. I wish they would use a clear or translucent circular base for consistency.
🎶 Himitsu Dayo 🎶 There are actually some sculptors in Japan who made a Brazilian Miku as a passion project and she looks amazing! ruclips.net/user/shortsvWQPeBxL74g?si=_MTD_BjxAUHmTxQq
Rukyo matoi suvinaire jacket sent me into orbit😭😂 great video tho keep it up!!!!!
Thank you for watching! She is one of my favorite PUP Ls because it is very fitting to her character! I cannot wait for Satsuki to come out!
Yess! That outfit really shows Ryuko’s personality! I’m waiting for Satsuki too cause she is my fave, but getting the elite four would be cool too!!
I like how you can see the figures increase in the background with every new figure video that releases xP

Wowww the quality on those is really nice!
Right! I think Pop Up Parade Ls are more consistent in quality than the standard PUPs because GSC doesn’t release as many in such a short time.

They look so nice 😋 I bet they look even better in real life!

I'm waiting for Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the shell movie (1995) and I can't wait
That’s a throwback!

ミク可愛い❤
My brother likes the Future Eve Miku PUP L because she reminds him of Lala from PriPara!
素晴らしい😊
Thank you for watching 🙏 I think it is amazing that people watch my videos lol I am just a random guy in Atlanta who collects figures.

She is! I just love how confident and playful she is in the series! Very iconic character!
