  • Today I'm making a delicious grilled ribeye recipe that's perfect for your Labor Day BBQ! This recipe for grilled ribeye is so easy to make, with just a few simple ingredients. I'm topping this delicious and tender steak with a compound butter made with fresh chives from my garden. Hope you enjoy the recipe!
    1 ribeye steak
    Olive oil
    Salt and fresh cracked pepper
2 tablespoons butter, 1 tablespoon minced chives
Mix together the butter with the chives. Form into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap, freezing until ready to use.
Grill steak on high heat, turning to sear and get those nice grill marks. Move over to indirect heat and top with compound butter. Close lid and continue cooking until the butter is melted and the steak is done to your desired temperature.

    I do mine exactly this way….only backwards…. Cool side to 100 degrees….sear to 130-135…
    Oh yeah…and no grill marks….they don’t add flavor….just looks….
